| James 3:1 | My brethren, be not many teachers, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. | Be not many teachers, my brethren, knowing that we shall receive greater judgment. | Be not many [of you] teachers, my brethren, knowing that we shall receive heavier judgment. |
| James 3:2 | For in many things we all offend. If any man offendeth not in word, the same is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. | For we all often offend. If any one offend not in word, *he* [is] a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body too. | For in many things we all stumble. If any stumbleth not in word, the same is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also. |
