Philemon 1:3Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Philemon 1:4I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,I thank my God, always making mention of thee at my prayers,I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,
Philemon 1:5Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast towards the Lord Jesus, and towards all saints;hearing of thy love and the faith which thou hast towards the Lord Jesus, and towards all the saints,Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;
Philemon 1:6That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.in such sort that thy participation in the faith should become operative in the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in us towards Christ [Jesus].That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
Philemon 1:7For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.For we have great thankfulness and encouragement through thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.
Philemon 1:8Wherefore, though I might be very bold in Christ to enjoin thee that which is convenient.Wherefore having much boldness in Christ to enjoin thee what is fitting,Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to enjoin thee that which is convenient,
Philemon 1:9Yet for love's sake I rather beseech thee, being such one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.for love's sake I rather exhort, being such a one as Paul the aged, and now also prisoner of Jesus Christ.Yet for love's sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.
Philemon 1:10I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:I exhort thee for *my* child, whom I have begotten in [my] bonds, Onesimus,I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:
Philemon 1:11Who in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:once unserviceable to thee, but now serviceable to thee and to me:Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:
Philemon 1:12Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, my own bowels:whom I have sent back to thee: [but do *thou* receive] him, that is, *my* bowels:Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:
Philemon 1:13Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered to me in the bonds of the gospel:whom *I* was desirous of keeping with myself, that for thee he might minister to me in the bonds of the glad tidings;Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:
Philemon 1:14But without thy mind I would do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.but I have wished to do nothing without thy mind, that thy good might not be as of necessity but of willingness:But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.
Philemon 1:15For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldst receive him for ever;for perhaps for this reason he has been separated [from thee] for a time, that thou mightest possess him fully for ever;For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever;
Philemon 1:16Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more to thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?not any longer as a bondman, but above a bondman, a beloved brother, specially to me, and how much rather to thee, both in [the] flesh and in [the] Lord?Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?
Philemon 1:17If thou accountest me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.If therefore thou holdest me to be a partner [with thee], receive him as me;If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.

Philemon 1:19I Paul have written it with my own hand, I will repay it: although I do not say to thee that thou owest to me even thy own self besides.*I* Paul have written [it] with mine own hand; *I* will repay [it]: that I say not to thee that thou owest even thine own self also to me.I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.
Philemon 1:20Yes, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.Yea, brother, *I* would have profit of *thee* in [the] Lord: refresh my bowels in Christ.Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.
