Luke 19:1And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.And entering in, he walked through Jericho.And he entered and was passing through Jericho.
Luke 19:2And behold, there was a man named Zaccheus, who was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.And behold, there was a man named Zacheus, who was the chief of the publicans, and he was rich.And behold, a man called by name Zacchaeus; and he was a chief publican, and he was rich.
Luke 19:3And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the crowd, because he was little of stature.And he sought to see Jesus who he was, and he could not for the crowd, because he was low of stature.And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the crowd, because he was little of stature.
Luke 19:4And he ran before, and climbed up upon a sycamore-tree to see him; for he was to pass that way.And running before, he climbed up into a sycamore tree, that he might see him; for he was to pass that way.And he ran on before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.
Luke 19:5And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said to him, Zaccheus, make haste, and come down: for to-day I must abide at thy house.And when Jesus was come to the place, looking up, he saw him, and said to him: Zacheus, make haste and come down; for this day I must abide in thy house.And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to-day I must abide at thy house.
Luke 19:6And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.And he made haste and came down; and received him with joy.And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.
Luke 19:7And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.And when all saw it, they murmured, saying, that he was gone to be a guest with a man that was a sinner.And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, He is gone in to lodge with a man that is a sinner.
Luke 19:8And Zaccheus stood, and said to the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him four-fold.But Zacheus standing, said to the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have wronged any man of any thing, I restore him fourfold.And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord, Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have wrongfully exacted aught of any man, I restore fourfold.
Luke 19:9And Jesus said to him, This day is salvation come to this house, forasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham.Jesus said to him: This day is salvation come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham.And Jesus said unto him, To-day is salvation come to this house, forasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
Luke 19:10For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.For the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost.
Luke 19:11And as they heard these things, he added and spoke a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God would immediately appear.As they were hearing these things, he added and spoke a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately be manifested.And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and [because] they supposed that the kingdom of God was immediately to appear.

Luke 19:13And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said to them, Occupy till I come.And calling his ten servants, he gave them ten pounds, and said to them: Trade till I come.And he called ten servants of his, and gave them ten pounds, and said unto them, Trade ye [herewith] till I come.
Luke 19:14But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.But his citizens hated him: and they sent an embassage after him, saying: We will not have this man to reign over us.But his citizens hated him, and sent an ambassage after him, saying, We will not that this man reign over us.
Luke 19:15And it came to pass, that when he had returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called to him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.And it came to pass, that he returned, having received the kingdom: and he commanded his servants to be called, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.And it came to pass, when he was come back again, having received the kingdom, that he commanded these servants, unto whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by trading.
Luke 19:16Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.And the first came, saying: Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.And the first came before him, saying, Lord, thy pound hath made ten pounds more.
Luke 19:17And he said to him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.And he said to him: Well done, thou good servant, because thou hast been faithful in a little, thou shalt have power over ten cities.And he said unto him, Well done, thou good servant: because thou wast found faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
Luke 19:18And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.And the second came, saying: Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.And the second came, saying, Thy pound, Lord, hath made five pounds.
Luke 19:19And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.And he said to him: Be thou also over five cities.And he said unto him also, Be thou also over five cities.
Luke 19:20And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:And another came, saying: Lord, behold here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin;And another came, saying, Lord, behold, [here is] thy pound, which I kept laid up in a napkin:
Luke 19:21For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up what thou layedst not down, and reapest what thou didst not sow.For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up what thou didst not lay down, and thou reapest that which thou didst not sow.for I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that which thou layedst not down, and reapest that which thou didst not sow.
Luke 19:22And he saith to him, Out of thy own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest me to be an austere man, taking up what I laid not down, and reaping what I did not sow:He saith to him: Out of thy own mouth I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up what I laid not down, and reaping that which I did not sow:He saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I am an austere man, taking up that which I laid not down, and reaping that which I did not sow;
Luke 19:23Why then gavest thou not my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required my own with interest?And why then didst thou not give my money into the bank, that at my coming, I might have exacted it with usury?then wherefore gavest thou not my money into the bank, and I at my coming should have required it with interest?
Luke 19:24And he said to them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.And he said to them that stood by: Take the pound away from him, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.And he said unto them that stood by, Take away from him the pound, and give it unto him that hath the ten pounds.
Luke 19:25(And they said to him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.)And they said to him: Lord, he hath ten pounds.And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.
Luke 19:26For I say to you, That to every one who hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even what he hath shall be taken away from him.But I say to you, that to every one that hath shall be given, and he shall abound: and from him that hath not, even that which he hath, shall be taken from him.I say unto you, that unto every one that hath shall be given; but from him that hath not, even that which he hath shall be taken away from him.
Luke 19:27But those my enemies, who would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.But as for those my enemies, who would not have me reign over them, bring them hither, and kill them before me.But these mine enemies, that would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
Luke 19:28And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending towards Jerusalem.And having said these things, he went before, going up to Jerusalem.And when he had thus spoken, he went on before, going up to Jerusalem.
Luke 19:29And it came to pass, when he had come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethania, unto the mount called Olivet, he sent two of his disciples,And it came to pass, when he drew nigh unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount that is called Olivet, he sent two of the disciples,
Luke 19:30Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in which at your entering ye will find a colt tied, on which yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.Saying: Go into the town which is over against you, at your entering into which you shall find the colt of an ass tied, on which no man ever hath sitten: loose him, and bring him hither.saying, Go your way into the village over against [you]; in which as ye enter ye shall find a colt tied, whereon no man ever yet sat: loose him, and bring him.
Luke 19:31And if any man shall ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say to him, Because the Lord hath need of him.And if any man shall ask you: Why do you loose him? you shall say thus unto him: Because the Lord hath need of his service.And if any one ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say, The Lord hath need of him.
Luke 19:32And they that were sent, went and found even as he had said to them.And they that were sent, went their way, and found the colt standing, as he had said unto them.And they that were sent went away, and found even as he had said unto them.
Luke 19:33And as they were loosing the colt, the owners of it said to them, Why loose ye the colt?And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said to them: Why loose you the colt?And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?
Luke 19:34And they said, The Lord hath need of him.But they said: Because the Lord hath need of him.And they said, The Lord hath need of him.
Luke 19:35And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus upon him.And they brought him to Jesus. And casting their garments on the colt, they set Jesus thereon.And they brought him to Jesus: and they threw their garments upon the colt, and set Jesus thereon.
Luke 19:36And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.And as he went, they spread their clothes underneath in the way.And as he went, they spread their garments in the way.
Luke 19:37And when he had come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice, for all the mighty works that they had seen.And when he was now coming near the descent of mount Olivet, the whole multitude of his disciples began with joy to praise God with a loud voice, for all the mighty works they had seen,And as he was now drawing nigh, [even] at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen;
Luke 19:38Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.Saying: Blessed be the king who cometh in the name of the Lord, peace in heaven, and glory on high!saying, Blessed [is] the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
Luke 19:39And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said to him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.And some of the Pharisees, from amongst the multitude, said to him: Master, rebuke thy disciples.And some of the Pharisees from the multitude said unto him, Teacher, rebuke thy disciples.
Luke 19:40And he answered and said to them, I tell you, that if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.To whom he said: I say to you, that if these shall hold their peace, the stones will cry out.And he answered and said, I tell you that, if these shall hold their peace, the stones will cry out.
Luke 19:41And when he had come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,And when he drew near, seeing the city, he wept over it, saying:And when he drew nigh, he saw the city and wept over it,
Luke 19:42Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong to thy peace! but now they are hid from thy eyes.If thou also hadst known, and that in this thy day, the things that are to thy peace; but now they are hidden from thy eyes.saying, If thou hadst known in this day, even thou, the things which belong unto peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
Luke 19:43For the days shall come upon thee, that thy enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and encompass thee, and keep thee in on every side,For the days shall come upon thee, and thy enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and straiten thee on every side,For the days shall come upon thee, when thine enemies shall cast up a bank about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
Luke 19:44And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee: and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another: because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.And beat thee flat to the ground, and thy children who are in thee: and they shall not leave in thee a stone upon a stone: because thou hast not known the time of thy visitation.and shall dash thee to the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
Luke 19:45And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold in it, and them that bought,And entering into the temple, he began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought.And he entered into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold,
Luke 19:46Saying to them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer, but ye have made it a den of thieves.Saying to them: It is written: My house is the house of prayer. But you have made it a den of thieves.saying unto them, It is written, And my house shall be a house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of robbers.
Luke 19:47And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests, and the scribes, and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,And he was teaching daily in the temple. And the chief priests and the scribes and the rulers of the people sought to destroy him:And he was teaching daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the principal men of the people sought to destroy him:
Luke 19:48And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.And they found not what to do to him: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.and they could not find what they might do; for the people all hung upon him, listening.
