| John 15:1 | I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. | If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; as I also have kept my Father's commandments, and do abide in his love. | I am the true vine and my Father is the gardener. |
| John 15:2 | Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh away; and every branch that beareth fruit, he cleaneth it, that it my bring forth more fruit. | These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be filled. | He takes away every branch in me which has no fruit, and every branch which has fruit he makes clean, so that it may have more fruit. |
