Luke 1:4That thou mayest know the certainty of those things in which thou hast been instructed.That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed. That thou mayest know the verity of those words in which thou hast been instructed.
Luke 1:5There was in the days of Herod the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth. Luke 1:17And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias; that he may turn the hearts of the fathers unto the children, and the incredulous to the wisdom of the just, to prepare unto the Lord a perfect people.
Luke 1:18And Zacharias said to the angel, By what shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife far advanced in years.And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years. And Zachary said to the angel: Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife is advanced in years.
Luke 1:19And the angel answering, said to him, I am Gabriel, who stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak to thee, and to show thee these glad tidings.And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings. And the angel answering, said to him: I am Gabriel, who stand before God: and am sent to speak to thee, and to bring thee these good tidings.
Luke 1:20And behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words which shall be fulfilled in their season.And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season. Luke 1:32He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David.He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the most High; and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of David his father; and he shall reign in the house of Jacob for ever.

Luke 1:35And the angel answered and said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon thee, and the power of the Highest will overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. And the angel answering, said to her: The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the most High shall overshadow thee. And therefore also the Holy which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Luke 1:36And behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren:And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. And behold thy cousin Elizabeth, she also hath conceived a son in her old age; and this is the sixth month with her that is called barren:
Luke 1:37For with God nothing will be impossible.For with God nothing shall be impossible. Because no word shall be impossible with God.
Luke 1:38And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord, be it to me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. Luke 1:39And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill-country with haste, into a city of Judah,And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda; And Mary rising up in those days, went into the hill country with haste into a city of Juda.

Luke 1:41And it came to pass, that when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb: and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: And it came to pass, that when Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the infant leaped in her womb. And blessed art thou that hast believed, because those things shall be accomplished that were spoken to thee by the Lord.
