| John 3:1 | There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: | Now there was one of the Pharisees whose name was Nicodemus a ruler among the Jews. | But there was a man from among the Pharisees, his name Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews; |
