Mark 15:1And forthwith in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes, and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.Immediately in the morning the chief priests, with the elders and scribes, and the whole council, held a consultation, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him up to Pilate.And immediately in the morning the chief priests, having taken counsel with the elders and scribes and the whole sanhedrim, bound Jesus and carried [him] away, and delivered [him] up to Pilate.
Mark 15:2And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering, said to him, Thou sayest it.Pilate asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" He answered, "So you say."And Pilate asked him, Art *thou* the King of the Jews? And he answered and said to him, *Thou* sayest.
Mark 15:3And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing.The chief priests accused him of many things.And the chief priests accused him urgently.
Mark 15:4And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? behold how many things they testify against thee.Pilate again asked him, "Have you no answer? See how many things they testify against you!"And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? See of how many things they bear witness against thee.
Mark 15:5But Jesus yet answered nothing: so that Pilate marveled.But Jesus made no further answer, so Pilate marveled.But Jesus still answered nothing, so that Pilate marvelled.
Mark 15:6Now at that feast he released to them one prisoner, whom they desired.Now at the feast he used to release to them one prisoner, whom they asked of him.But at [the] feast he released to them one prisoner, whomsoever they begged [of him].
Mark 15:7And there was one named Barabbas, who lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection.There was one called Barabbas, bound with those who had made insurrection, men who in the insurrection had committed murder.Now there was the [person] named Barabbas bound with those who had made insurrection with [him], [and] that had committed murder in the insurrection.
Mark 15:8And the multitude crying aloud, began to desire him to do as he had ever done to them.The multitude, crying aloud, began to ask him to do as he always did for them.And the crowd crying out began to beg [that he would do] to them as he had always done.
Mark 15:9But Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release to you the King of the Jews?Pilate answered them, saying, "Do you you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?"But Pilate answered them saying, Will ye that I release to you the King of the Jews?
Mark 15:10(For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy.)For he perceived that for envy the chief priests had delivered him up.for he knew that the chief priests had delivered him up through envy.
Mark 15:11But the chief priests moved the people that he should rather release Barabbas to them.But the chief priests stirred up the multitude, that he should release Barabbas to them instead.But the chief priests stirred up the crowd that he might rather release Barabbas to them.
Mark 15:12And Pilate answered, and said again to them, What will ye then that I shall do to him whom ye call the King of the Jews?Pilate again asked them, "What then should I do to him whom you call the King of the Jews?"And Pilate answering said to them again, What will ye then that I do [to him] whom ye call King of the Jews?
Mark 15:13And they cried out again, Crucify him.They cried out again, "Crucify him!"And they cried out again, Crucify him.
Mark 15:14Then Pilate said to them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.Pilate said to them, "Why, what evil has he done?" But they cried out exceedingly, "Crucify him!"And Pilate said to them, What evil then has he done? But they cried out the more urgently, Crucify him.
Mark 15:15And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas to them, and having scourged Jesus, delivered him to be crucified.Pilate, wishing to please the multitude, released Barabbas to them, and delivered Jesus, when he had flogged him, to be crucified.And Pilate, desirous of contenting the crowd, released to them Barabbas, and delivered up Jesus, when he had scourged him, that he might be crucified.
Mark 15:16And the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Pretorium; and they call together the whole band;The soldiers led him away within the court, which is the Praetorium; and they called together the whole cohort.And the soldiers led him away into the court which is [called the] praetorium, and they call together the whole band.
Mark 15:17And they clothed him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his head,They clothed him with purple, and weaving a crown of thorns, they put it on him.And they clothe him with purple, and bind round on him a crown of thorns which they had plaited.
Mark 15:18And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews!They began to salute him, "Hail, King of the Jews!"And they began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews!
Mark 15:19And they struck him on the head with a reed, and spit upon him, and bowing their knees, worshiped him.They struck his head with a reed, and spat on him, and bowing their knees, did homage to him.And they struck his head with a reed, and spat on him, and, bending the knee, did him homage.

Mark 15:22And they bring him to the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull.They brought him to the place called Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, "The place of a skull."And they bring him to the place [called] Golgotha, which, being interpreted, is Place of a skull.
Mark 15:23And they gave him to drink, wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not.They offered him wine mixed with myrrh to drink, but he didn't take it.And they offered him wine [to drink] medicated with myrrh; but he did not take [it].
Mark 15:24And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.Crucifying him, they parted his garments among them, casting lots on them, what each should take.And having crucified him, they part his clothes amongst [themselves], casting lots on them, what each one should take.

Mark 15:30Save thyself, and come down from the cross.save yourself, and come down from the cross!"save thyself, and descend from the cross.
Mark 15:31Likewise also the chief priests mocking, said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others, himself he cannot save.Likewise, also the chief priests mocking among themselves with the scribes said, "He saved others. He can't save himself.In like manner the chief priests also, with the scribes, mocking with one another, said, He saved others; himself he cannot save.
Mark 15:32Let Christ the king of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him, reviled him.Let the Christ, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, that we may see and believe him." Mark 15:34And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama, sabacthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?At the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" which is, being interpreted, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"and at the ninth hour, Jesus cried with a loud voice, [saying], Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Mark 15:35And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elijah.Some of those who stood by, when they heard it, said, "Behold, he calls Elijah."And some of those who stood by, when they heard [it], said, Behold, he calls for Elias.
Mark 15:36And one ran and filled a sponge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elijah will come to take him down.One ran, and filling a sponge full of vinegar, put it on a reed, and gave it to him to drink, saying, "Let him be. Let's see whether Elijah comes to take him down."And one, running and filling a sponge with vinegar, fixed it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone, let us see if Elias comes to take him down.
Mark 15:37And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and expired.Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and gave up the spirit.And Jesus, having uttered a loud cry, expired.
Mark 15:38And the vail of the temple was rent in two, from the top to the bottom.The veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom.And the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom.
Mark 15:39And when the centurion who stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and expired, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.When the centurion, who stood by opposite him, saw that he cried out like this and breathed his last, he said, "Truly this man was the Son of God!"And the centurion who stood by over against him, when he saw that he had expired having thus cried out, said, Truly this man was Son of God.
Mark 15:40There were also women looking on at a distance, among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the younger, and of Joses, and Salome;There were also women watching from afar, among whom were both Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;And there were women also looking on from afar off, among whom were both Mary of Magdala, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;
Mark 15:41Who also, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and ministered to him; and many other women who came with him to Jerusalem.who, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and served him; and many other women who came up with him to Jerusalem.who also, when he was in Galilee, followed him and ministered to him; and many others who came up with him to Jerusalem.
Mark 15:42And now, when the evening was come, (because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath)When evening had now come, because it was the Preparation, that is, the day before the Sabbath,And when it was already evening, since it was [the] preparation, that is, [the day] before a sabbath,
Mark 15:43Joseph of Arimathea, an honorable counselor, who also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly to Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus.Joseph of Arimathaea, a member of the council of honorable estate, who also himself was looking for the kingdom of God, came. He boldly went in to Pilate, and asked for Jesus' body.Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable councillor, who also himself was awaiting the kingdom of God, coming, emboldened himself and went in to Pilate and begged the body of Jesus.
Mark 15:44And Pilate wondered if he was already dead: and calling the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead.Pilate marveled if he were already dead: and calling to him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been dead for a while.And Pilate wondered if he were already dead; and having called to [him] the centurion, he inquired of him if he had long died.
Mark 15:45And when he knew it from the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph.When he learned it from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.And when he knew from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.
Mark 15:46And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulcher which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone to the door of the sepulcher.He bought a linen cloth, and taking him down, wound him in the linen cloth, and laid him in a tomb which had been cut out of a rock. He rolled a stone against the door of the tomb.And having bought fine linen, [and] having taken him down, he swathed him in the fine linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was cut out of rock, and rolled a stone to the door of the sepulchre.
Mark 15:47And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses, beheld where he was laid.Mary Magdalene and Mary, the mother of Joses, saw where he was laid.And Mary of Magdala and Mary the [mother] of Joses saw where he was put.
