Leviticus 26:1

Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down to it: for I am the LORD your God.

You shall make you no idols, neither shall you rear you up an engraved image, or a pillar, neither shall you place any figured stone in your land, to bow down to it: for I am Yahweh your God.

I am the Lord your God: you shall not make to yourselves any idol or graven thing, neither shall you erect pillars, nor set up a remarkable stone in your land, to adore it: for I am the Lord your God.

Leviticus 26:2

Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

You shall keep my Sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am Yahweh.

Keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.

Leviticus 26:3

If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;

If you walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;

If you walk in my precepts, and keep my commandments, and do them, I will give you rein in due seasons.

Leviticus 26:4

Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit:

then I will give your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

And the ground shall bring forth its increase, and the trees shall be filled with fruit.

Leviticus 26:5

And your threshing shall reach to the vintage, and the vintage shall reach to the sowing time; and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.

Your threshing shall reach to the vintage, and the vintage shall reach to the sowing time; and you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.

Leviticus 26:6

And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid the land of evil beasts, neither shall the sword go through your land.

I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will cause evil animals to cease out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

I will give peace in your coasts: you shall sleep, and there shall be none to make you afraid. I will take away evil beasts: and the sword shall not pass through your quarters.

Leviticus 26:7

And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.

You shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.

You shall pursue your enemies, and they shall fall before you.

Leviticus 26:8

And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase ten thousand; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

Five of yours shall pursue a hundred others, and a hundred of you ten thousand: your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

Leviticus 26:9

For I will have respect to you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.

I will have respect to you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and will establish my covenant with you.

I will look on you, and make you increase: you shell be multiplied, and I will establish my covenant with you.

Leviticus 26:10

And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.

You shall eat old store long kept, and you shall bring forth the old because of the new.

You shall eat the oldest of the old store, and, new coming on, you shall cast away the old.

Leviticus 26:11

And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.

I will set my tent among you: and my soul won't abhor you.

I will set my tabernacle in the midst of you, and my soul shall not cast you off.

Leviticus 26:12

And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.

I will walk among you, and will be your God, and you shall be my people.

Leviticus 26:13

I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bond-men, and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.

I am Yahweh your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their bondservants; and I have broken the bars of your yoke, and made you go upright.

I am the Lord your God: who have brought you out of the land of the Egyptians, that you should not serve them, and who have broken the chains of your necks, that you might go upright.

Leviticus 26:14

But if ye will not hearken to me, and will not do all these commandments;

But if you will not listen to me, and will not do all these commandments;

But if you will not hear me, nor do all my commandments,

Leviticus 26:15

And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul shall abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:

and if you shall reject my statutes, and if your soul abhor my ordinances, so that you will not do all my commandments, but break my covenant;

If you despise my laws, and contemn my judgments so as not to do those things which are appointed by me, and to make void my covenant:

Leviticus 26:16

I also will do this to you, I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

I also will do this to you: I will appoint terror over you, even consumption and fever, that shall consume the eyes, and make the soul to pine away; and you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

I also will do these things to you: I will quickly visit you with poverty, and burning heat, which shall waste your eyes, and consume your lives. You shall sow your seed in vain, which shall be devoured by your enemies.

Leviticus 26:17

And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you, and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.

I will set my face against you, and you shall be struck before your enemies: those who hate you shall rule over you; and you shall flee when none pursues you.

I will set my face against you, and you shall fall down before your enemies, and shall be made subject to them that hate you, you shall flee when no man pursueth you.

Leviticus 26:18

And if ye will not yet for all this hearken to me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

If you will not yet for these things listen to me, then I will chastise you seven times more for your sins.

But if you will not yet for all this obey me: I will chastise you seven times more for your sins,

Leviticus 26:19

And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:

I will break the pride of your power: and I will make your sky as iron, and your earth as brass;

And I will break the pride of your stubbornness, and I will make to you the heaven above as iron, and the earth as brass:

Leviticus 26:20

And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.

and your strength shall be spent in vain; for your land shall not yield its increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruit.

Your labour shall be spent in vain, the ground shall not bring forth her increase, nor the trees yield their fruit.

Leviticus 26:21

And if ye shall walk contrary to me, and will not hearken to me, I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

If you walk contrary to me, and won't listen to me, I will bring seven times more plagues on you according to your sins.

If you walk contrary to me, and will not hearken to me, I will bring seven times more plagues upon you for your sins:

Leviticus 26:22

I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number, and your high-ways shall be desolate.

I will send the animal of the field among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your ways shall become desolate.

And I will send in upon you the beasts of the held, to destroy you and your cattle, and make you few in number, and that your highways may be desolate.

Leviticus 26:23

And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary to me;

If by these things you won't be reformed to me, but will walk contrary to me;

And if even so you will not amend, but will walk contrary to me:

Leviticus 26:24

Then will I also walk contrary to you, and I will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

then will I also walk contrary to you; and I will strike you, even I, seven times for your sins.

Leviticus 26:25

And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you: and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

I will bring a sword on you, that shall execute the vengeance of the covenant; and you shall be gathered together within your cities: and I will send the pestilence among you; and you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

And I will bring in upon you the sword that shall avenge my covenant. And when you shall flee into the cities, I will send the pestilence in the midst of you, and you shall be delivered into the hands of your enemies,

And when I have broke the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.

When I break your staff of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver your bread again by weight: and you shall eat, and not be satisfied.

After I shall have broken the staff of your bread: so that ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and give it out by weight: and you shall eat, and shall not be filled.

Leviticus 26:27

And if ye will not for all this hearken to me, but walk contrary to me;

If you won't for all this listen to me, but walk contrary to me;

But if you will not for all this hearken to me, but will walk against me:

Leviticus 26:28

Then I will walk contrary to you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

then I will walk contrary to you in wrath; and I also will chastise you seven times for your sins.

I will also go against you with opposite fury, and I will chastise you with seven plagues for your sins,

Leviticus 26:29

And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.

You shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall you eat.

So that you shall eat the flesh of your sons and of your daughters.

Leviticus 26:30

And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcasses upon the carcasses of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

I will destroy your high places, and cut down your sun-images, and cast your dead bodies on the bodies of your idols; and my soul shall abhor you.

I will destroy your high places, and break your idols. You shall fall among the ruins of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

Leviticus 26:31

And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries to desolation, and I will not smell the savor of your sweet odors.

I will make your cities a waste, and will bring your sanctuaries to desolation, and I won't smell the savor of your sweet odors.

Insomuch that I will bring your cities to be a wilderness, and I will make your sanctuaries desolate, and will receive no more your sweet odours.

Leviticus 26:32

And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies who dwell in it shall be astonished at it.

I will bring the land into desolation; and your enemies that dwell therein shall be astonished at it.

And I will destroy your land, and your enemies shall be astonished at it, when they shall be the inhabitants thereof.

Leviticus 26:33

And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

You will I scatter among the nations, and I will draw out the sword after you: and your land shall be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste.

And I will scatter you among the Gentiles, and I will draw out the sword after you, and your land shall be desert, and your cities destroyed.

Leviticus 26:34

Then shall the land enjoy its sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye are in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy its sabbaths.

Then shall the land enjoy its Sabbaths, as long as it lies desolate, and you are in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy its Sabbaths.

Then shell the land enjoy her sabbaths all the days of her desolation: when you shall be

Leviticus 26:35

As long as it lieth desolate, it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.

As long as it lies desolate it shall have rest, even the rest which it didn't have in your Sabbaths, when you lived on it.

In the enemy's land, she shall keep a sabbath, and rest in the sabbaths of her desolation, because she did not rest in your sabbaths when you dwelt therein.

Leviticus 26:36

And upon them that are left alive of you, I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall, when none pursueth.

As for those who are left of you, I will send a faintness into their heart in the lands of their enemies: and the sound of a driven leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as one flees from the sword; and they shall fall when none pursues.

And as to them that shall remain of you I will send fear in their hearts in the countries of their enemies, the sound of a flying leaf shall terrify them, and they shall flee as it were from the sword: they shall fall, when no man pursueth them,

Leviticus 26:37

And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.

They shall stumble one on another, as it were before the sword, when none pursues: and you shall have no power to stand before your enemies.

And they shall every one fall upon their brethren as fleeing from wars, none of you shall dare to resist your enemies.

Leviticus 26:38

And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.

You shall perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.

You shall perish among the Gentiles, and an enemy's land shall consume you.

Leviticus 26:39

And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.

Those who are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.

And if of them also some remain, they shall pine away in their iniquities, in the land of their enemies, and they shall be afflicted for the sins of their fathers, and their own:

Leviticus 26:40

If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary to me;

They shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, in their trespass which they trespassed against me, and also that, because they walked contrary to me,

Until they confess their iniquities and the iniquities of their ancestors, whereby they have transgressed me, and walked contrary unto me.

Leviticus 26:41

And that I also have walked contrary to them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts shall be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:

I also walked contrary to them, and brought them into the land of their enemies: if then their uncircumcised heart be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity;

Therefore I also will walk them, and bring them into their enemies' land until their uncircumcised mind be ashamed: then shall they pray for their sins.

Leviticus 26:42

Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

then will I remember my covenant with Jacob; and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

And I will remember my covenant, that I made with Jacob, and Isaac, and Abraham. I will remember also the land:

Leviticus 26:43

The land also shall be left by them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity; because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.

The land also shall be left by them, and shall enjoy its Sabbaths, while it lies desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity; because, even because they rejected my ordinances, and their soul abhorred my statutes.

Which when she shall be left by them, shall enjoy her sabbaths, being desolate for them. But they shall pray for their sins, because they rejected my judgments, and despised my laws.

Leviticus 26:44

And yet for all that, when they shall be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them; for I am the LORD their God.

Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them; for I am Yahweh their God;

And yet for all that when they were in the land of their enemies, I did not cast them off altogether, neither did I so despise them that they should be quite consumed, and I should make void my covenant with them. For I am the Lord their God.

Leviticus 26:45

But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.

but I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God: I am Yahweh.

And I will remember my former covenant, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, in the sight of the Gentiles, to be their God. I am the Lord. These are the judgments, and precepts, and laws, which the Lord gave between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.

These are the statutes, and judgments, and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
