Exodus 35:1And Moses assembled all the congregation of the children of Israel, and said to them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.Moses assembled all the congregation of the children of Israel, and said to them, "These are the words which Yahweh has commanded, that you should do them.
Exodus 35:2Six days shall work be done; but on the seventh day there shall be to you a holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whoever doth work therein shall be put to death.'Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be a holy day for you, a Sabbath of solemn rest to Yahweh: whoever does any work in it shall be put to death.
Exodus 35:3Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath-day.You shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations on the Sabbath day.'"
Exodus 35:4And Moses spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying,Moses spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, "This is the thing which Yahweh commanded, saying,
Exodus 35:5Take ye from among you an offering to the LORD: whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,'Take from among you an offering to Yahweh. Whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, Yahweh's offering: gold, silver, brass,
Exodus 35:6And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goats' hair,
Exodus 35:7And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,rams' skins dyed red, sea cow hides, acacia wood,
Exodus 35:8And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense,
Exodus 35:9And onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breast-plate.onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod and for the breastplate.
Exodus 35:10And every wise-hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD hath commanded;"Let every wise-hearted man among you come, and make all that Yahweh has commanded:
Exodus 35:11The tabernacle, its tent, and its covering, its buttons, and its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets,the tent, its outer covering, its roof, its clasps, its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets;
Exodus 35:12The ark, and its staffs, with the mercy-seat, and the vail of the covering,the ark, and its poles, the mercy seat, the veil of the screen;
Exodus 35:13The table, and its staffs, and all its vessels, and the show-bread,the table with its poles and all its vessels, and the show bread;
Exodus 35:14The candlestick also for the light, and its furniture, and its lamps, with the oil for the light,the lampstand also for the light, with its vessels, its lamps, and the oil for the light;
Exodus 35:15And the incense-altar, and its staffs, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the door at the entrance of the tabernacle,and the altar of incense with its poles, the anointing oil, the sweet incense, the screen for the door, at the door of the tent;
Exodus 35:16The altar of burnt-offering, with its brazen grate, its staffs, and all its vessels, the laver and its foot,the altar of burnt offering, with its grating of brass, it poles, and all its vessels, the basin and its base;
Exodus 35:17The hangings of the court, its pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,the hangings of the court, its pillars, their sockets, and the screen for the gate of the court;
Exodus 35:18The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,the pins of the tent, the pins of the court, and their cords;
Exodus 35:19The clothes of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office.the finely worked garments, for ministering in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office.'"
Exodus 35:20And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.All the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.
Exodus 35:21And they came, every one whose heart excited him, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD'S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.They came, everyone whose heart stirred him up, and everyone whom his spirit made willing, and brought Yahweh's offering, for the work of the tent of meeting, and for all of its service, and for the holy garments.
Exodus 35:22And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing-hearted, and brought bracelets, and ear-rings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold; and every man that offered, offered an offering of gold to the LORD.They came, both men and women, as many as were willing-hearted, and brought brooches, ear-rings, signet-rings, and armlets, all jewels of gold; even every man who offered an offering of gold to Yahweh.
Exodus 35:23And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers' skins, brought them.Everyone, with whom was found blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goats' hair, rams' skins dyed red, and sea cow hides, brought them.
Exodus 35:24Every one that offered an offering of silver and brass brought the LORD'S offering: and every man with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.Everyone who did offer an offering of silver and brass brought Yahweh's offering; and everyone, with whom was found acacia wood for any work of the service, brought it.
Exodus 35:25And all the women that were wise-hearted spun with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.All the women who were wise-hearted spun with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, the blue, the purple, the scarlet, and the fine linen.
Exodus 35:26And all the women whose heart moved them in wisdom spun goats' hair.All the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun the goats' hair.
Exodus 35:27And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breast-plate;The rulers brought the onyx stones, and the stones to be set, for the ephod and for the breastplate;
Exodus 35:28And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.and the spice, and the oil for the light, for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.
Exodus 35:29The children of Israel brought a willing offering to the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.The children of Israel brought a freewill offering to Yahweh; every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all the work, which Yahweh had commanded to be made by Moses.
Exodus 35:30And Moses said to the children of Israel, See, the LORD hath called by name Bezaleel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;Moses said to the children of Israel, "Behold, Yahweh has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.
Exodus 35:31And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;
Exodus 35:32And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,and to make skillful works, to work in gold, in silver, in brass,
Exodus 35:33And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of curious work.in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all kinds of skillful workmanship.
Exodus 35:34And he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.He has put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.
Exodus 35:35Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the skillful workmen, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise curious work.He has filled them with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of workmanship, of the engraver, of the skillful workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of those who do any workmanship, and of those who make skillful works.
