Revelation 3:1 | "To the minister of the Church at Sardis write as follows: "`This is what He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars says. I know your doings you are supposed to be alive, but in reality you are dead. | And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars: I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and thou art dead. | And to the angel of the assembly in Sardis write: These things saith he that has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars: I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. |
Revelation 3:2 | Rouse yourself and keep awake, and strengthen those things which remain but have well-nigh perished; for I have found no doings of yours free from imperfection in the sight of My God. | Be thou watchful, and establish the things that remain, which were ready to die: for I have found no works of thine perfected before my God. | Be watchful, and strengthen the things that remain, which are about to die, for I have not found thy works complete before my God. |
Revelation 3:3 | Be mindful, therefore, of the lessons you have received and heard. Continually lay them to heart, and repent. If, however, you fail to rouse yourself and keep awake, I shall come upon you suddenly like a thief, and you will certainly not know the hour at which I shall come to judge you. | Remember therefore how thou hast received and didst hear; and keep [it], and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. | Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and keep [it] and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come [upon thee] as a thief, and thou shalt not know at what hour I shall come upon thee. |
Revelation 3:4 | Yet you have in Sardis a few who have not soiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white; for they are worthy. | But thou hast a few names in Sardis that did not defile their garments: and they shall walk with me in white; for they are worthy. | But thou hast a few names in Sardis which have not defiled their garments, and they shall walk with me in white, because they are worthy. |
Revelation 3:5 | "`In this way he who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments; and I will certainly not blot out his name from the Book of Life, but will acknowledge him in the presence of My Father and His angels. | He that overcometh shall thus be arrayed in white garments; and I will in no wise blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. | He that overcomes, *he* shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot his name out of the book of life, and will confess his name before my Father and before his angels. |
Revelation 3:6 | Let all who have ears give heed to what the Spirit is saying to the Churches.' | He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. | He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. |
Revelation 3:7 | "To the minister of the Church at Philadelphia write as follows: "`This is what the holy One and the true says He who has the key of David He who opens and no one shall shut, and shuts and no one shall open. | And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth and none shall shut, and that shutteth and none openeth: | And to the angel of the assembly in Philadelphia write: These things saith the holy, the true; he that has the key of David, he who opens and no one shall shut, and shuts and no one shall open: |
Revelation 3:8 | I know your doings. I have put an opened door in front of you, which no one can shut; because you have but a little power, and yet you have guarded My word and have not disowned Me. | I know thy works (behold, I have set before thee a door opened, which none can shut), that thou hast a little power, and didst keep my word, and didst not deny my name. | I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an opened door, which no one can shut, because thou hast a little power, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. |
Revelation 3:9 | I will cause some belonging to Satan's synagogue who say that they themselves are Jews, and are not, but are liars I will make them come and fall at your feet and know for certain that I have loved you. | Behold, I give of the synagogue of Satan, of them that say they are Jews, and they are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. | Behold, I make them of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews, and are not, but lie; behold, I will cause that they shall come and shall do homage before thy feet, and shall know that *I* have loved thee. |
Revelation 3:10 | Because in spite of suffering you have guarded My word, I in turn will guard you from that hour of trial which is soon coming upon the whole world, to put to the test the inhabitants of the earth. | Because thou didst keep the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of trial, that [hour] which is to come upon the whole world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. | Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, *I* also will keep thee out of the hour of trial, which is about to come upon the whole habitable world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. |
Revelation 3:11 | I am coming quickly: cling to that which you already possess, so that your wreath of victory be not taken away from you. | I come quickly: hold fast that which thou hast, that no one take thy crown. | I come quickly: hold fast what thou hast, that no one take thy crown. |
Revelation 3:12 | "`He who overcomes I will make him a pillar in the sanctuary of My God, and he shall never go out from it again. And I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which is to come down out of Heaven from My God, and My own new name. | He that overcometh, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go out thence no more: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and mine own new name. | He that overcomes, him will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more at all out; and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven, from my God, and my new name. |

Revelation 3:15 | I know your doings you are neither cold nor hot; I would that you were cold or hot! | I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. | I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot; I would thou wert cold or hot. |
Revelation 3:16 | Accordingly, because you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, before long I will vomit you out of My mouth. | So because thou art lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spew thee out of my mouth. | Thus because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to spue thee out of my mouth. |
Revelation 3:17 | You say, I am rich, and have wealth stored up, and I stand in need of nothing; and you do not know that if there is a wretched creature it is *you* pitiable, poor, blind, naked. | Because thou sayest, I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art the wretched one and miserable and poor and blind and naked: | Because thou sayest, I am rich, and am grown rich, and have need of nothing, and knowest not that *thou* art the wretched and the miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked; |
Revelation 3:18 | Therefore I counsel you to buy of Me gold refined in the fire that you may become rich, and white robes to put on, so as to hide your shameful nakedness, and eye-salve to anoint your eyes with, so that you may be able to see. | I counsel thee to buy of me gold refined by fire, that thou mayest become rich; and white garments, that thou mayest clothe thyself, and [that] the shame of thy nakedness be not made manifest; and eyesalve to anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see. | I counsel thee to buy of me gold purified by fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white garments, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness may not be made manifest; and eye-salve to anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see. |
Revelation 3:19 | All whom I hold dear, I reprove and chastise; therefore be in earnest and repent. | As many as I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. | I rebuke and discipline as many as I love; be zealous therefore and repent. |
Revelation 3:20 | I am now standing at the door and am knocking. If any one listens to My voice and opens the door, I will go in to be with him and will feast with him, and he shall feast with Me. | Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. | Behold, I stand at the door and am knocking; if any one hear my voice and open the door, I will come in unto him and sup with him, and he with me. |
Revelation 3:21 | "`To him who overcomes I will give the privilege of sitting down with Me on My throne, as I also have overcome and have sat down with My Father on His throne. | He that overcometh, I will give to him to sit down with me in my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father in his throne. | He that overcomes, to him will I give to sit with me in my throne; as *I* also have overcome, and have sat down with my Father in his throne. |
