| Romans 10:1 | Brethren, the longing of my heart, and my prayer to God, on behalf of my countrymen is for their salvation. | Brethren, my heart's desire and my supplication to God is for them, that they may be saved. | Brethren, the delight of my own heart and my supplication which [I address] to God for them is for salvation. |

| Romans 10:7 | "nor `Who shall go down into the abyss?'" that is, to bring Christ up again from the grave. | or, Who shall descend into the abyss? (That is, to bring Christ up from the dead.) | or, Who shall descend into the abyss? that is, to bring up Christ from among [the] dead. |

| Romans 10:14 | But how are they to call on One in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in One whose voice they have never heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher? | How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? | How then shall they call upon him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe on him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without one who preaches? |
| Romans 10:15 | And how are men to preach unless they have been sent to do so? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring glad tidings of good!" | and how shall they preach, except they be sent? even as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that bring glad tidings of good things! | and how shall they preach unless they have been sent? according as it is written, How beautiful the feet of them that announce glad tidings of peace, of them that announce glad tidings of good things! |
| Romans 10:16 | But, some will say, they have not all hearkened to the Good News. No, for Isaiah asks, "Lord, who has believed the Message they have heard from us?" | But they did not all hearken to the glad tidings. For Isaiah saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? | But they have not all obeyed the glad tidings. For Esaias says, Lord, who has believed our report? |
| Romans 10:17 | And this proves that faith comes from a Message heard, and that the Message comes through its having been spoken by Christ. | So belief [cometh] of hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. | So faith then [is] by a report, but the report by God's word. |
| Romans 10:18 | But, I ask, have they not heard? Yes, indeed: "To the whole world the preachers' voices have sounded forth, and their words to the remotest parts of the earth." | But I say, Did they not hear? Yea, verily, Their sound went out into all the earth, And their words unto the ends of the world. | But I say, Have they not heard? Yea, surely, Their voice has gone out into all the earth, and their words to the extremities of the habitable world. |
| Romans 10:19 | But again, did Israel fail to understand? Listen to Moses first. He says, "I will fire you with jealousy against a nation which is no nation, and with fury against a nation devoid of understanding." | But I say, Did Israel not know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is no nation, With a nation void of understanding will I anger you. | But I say, Has not Israel known? First, Moses says, *I* will provoke you to jealousy through [them that are] not a nation: through a nation without understanding I will anger you. |
| Romans 10:20 | And Isaiah, with strange boldness, exclaims, "I have been found by those who were not looking for Me, I have revealed Myself to those who were not inquiring of Me." | And Isaiah is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I became manifest unto them that asked not of me. | But Esaias is very bold, and says, I have been found by those not seeking me; I have become manifest to those not inquiring after me. |
| Romans 10:21 | While as to Israel he says, "All day long I have stretched out My arms to a self-willed and fault-finding people." | But as to Israel he saith, All the day long did I spread out my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people. | But unto Israel he says, All the day long I have stretched out my hands unto a people disobeying and opposing. |
