| Mark 11:1 | When they were getting near Jerusalem and had arrived at Bethphage and Bethany, on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples on in front, with these instructions. | And when they draw nigh unto Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth two of his disciples, | And when they were drawing near to Jerusalem and to Bethania at the mount of Olives, he sendeth two of his disciples, |
| Mark 11:2 | "Go," He said, "to the village facing you, and immediately on entering it you will find an ass's foal tied up which no one has ever yet ridden: untie him and bring him here. | and saith unto them, Go your way into the village that is over against you: and straightway as ye enter into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon no man ever yet sat; loose him, and bring him. | And saith to them: Go into the village that is over against you, and immediately at your coming in thither, you shall find a colt tied, upon which no man yet hath sat: loose him, and bring him. |
| Mark 11:3 | And if any one asks you, `Why are you doing that?' say, `The Master needs it, and will send it back here without delay.'" | And if any one say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye, The Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him back hither. | And if any man shall say to you, What are you doing? say ye that the Lord hath need of him: and immediately he will let him come hither. |
| Mark 11:4 | So they went and found a young ass tied up at the front door of a house. They were untying it, | And they went away, and found a colt tied at the door without in the open street; and they loose him. | And going their way, they found the colt tied before the gate without, in the meeting of two ways: and they loose him. |
| Mark 11:5 | when some of the bystanders called out, "What are you doing, untying the foal?" | And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt? | And some of them that stood there, said to them: What do you loosing the colt? |
| Mark 11:6 | But on their giving the answer that Jesus had bidden them give, they let them take it. | And they said unto them even as Jesus had said: and they let them go. | Who said to them as Jesus had commanded them; and they let him go with them. |
| Mark 11:7 | So they brought the foal to Jesus, and threw their outer garments over him; and Jesus mounted. | And they bring the colt unto Jesus, and cast on him their garments; and he sat upon him. | And they brought the colt to Jesus; and they lay their garments on him, and he sat upon him. |
| Mark 11:8 | Then many spread their outer garments to carpet the road, and others leafy branches which they had cut down in the fields; | And many spread their garments upon the way; and others branches, which they had cut from the fields. | And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down boughs from the trees, and strewed them in the way. |
| Mark 11:9 | while those who led the way and those who followed kept shouting "God save Him!" Blessed be He who comes in the Lord's name. | And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, Hosanna; Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord: | And they that went before and they that followed, cried, saying: Hosanna, blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. |

When however He came to it, He found nothing but leaves (for it was not fig time); | And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for it was not the season of figs. | And when he had seen afar off a fig tree having leaves, he came if perhaps he might find any thing on it. And when he was come to it, he found nothing but leaves. For it was not the time for figs. |
| Mark 11:14 | and He said to the tree, "Let no one ever again eat fruit from thee!" And His disciples heard this. | And he answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit from thee henceforward for ever. | Mark 11:15 | They reached Jerusalem, and entering the Temple He began to drive out the buyers and sellers, and upset the money-changers' tables and the stools of the pigeon-dealers, | And they come to Jerusalem: and he entered into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and them that bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them that sold the doves; | And they came to Jerusalem. And when he was entered into the temple, he began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the chairs of them that sold doves. |
| Mark 11:16 | and would not allow any one to carry anything through the Temple. | and he would not suffer that any man should carry a vessel through the temple. | And he suffered not that any man should carry a vessel through the temple; |
| Mark 11:17 | And He remonstrated with them. "Is it not written," He said, "`My House shall be called The House of Prayer for all the nations?' But you have made it what it now is a robbers' cave." | And he taught, and said unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations? but ye have made it a den of robbers. | And he taught, saying to them: Is it not written, My house shall be called the house of prayer to all nations? But you have made it a den of thieves. |
| Mark 11:18 | This the High Priests and Scribes heard, and they began to devise means to destroy Him. For they were afraid of Him, because of the deep impression produced on all the people by His teaching. | And the chief priests and the scribes heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, for all the multitude was astonished at his teaching. | Which when the chief priests and the scribes had heard, they sought how they might destroy him. For they feared him, because the whole multitude was in admiration at his doctrine. |
| Mark 11:19 | When evening came on, Jesus and His disciples used to leave the city. | And every evening he went forth out of the city. | And when evening was come, he went forth out of the city. |
| Mark 11:20 | In the early morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig-tree withered to the roots; | And as they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away from the roots. | And when they passed by in the morning they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. |
| Mark 11:21 | and Peter, recollecting, said to Him, "Look, Rabbi, the fig-tree which you cursed is withered up." | And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Rabbi, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. | And Peter remembering, said to him: Rabbi, behold the fig tree, which thou didst curse, is withered away. |

| Mark 11:23 | In solemn truth I tell you that if any one shall say to this mountain, `Remove, and hurl thyself into the sea,' and has no doubt about it in his heart, but stedfastly believes that what he says will happen, it shall be granted him. | Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it. | Amen I say to you, that whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou removed and be cast into the sea, and shall not stagger in his heart, but believe, that whatsoever he saith shall be done; it shall be done unto him. |
| Mark 11:24 | That is why I tell you, as to whatever you pray and make request for, if you believe that you have received it it shall be yours. | Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. | Therefore I say unto you, all things, whatsoever you ask when ye pray, believe that you shall receive; and they shall come unto you. |

| Mark 11:29 | "And I will put a question to you," replied Jesus; "answer me, and then I will tell you by what authority I do these things. | And Jesus said unto them, I will ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. | And Jesus answering, said to them: I will also ask you one word, and answer you me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. |
