Acts 15:1But certain persons who had come down from Judaea tried to convince the brethren, saying, "Unless you are circumcised in accordance with the Mosaic custom, you cannot be saved."And certain men came down from Judaea and taught the brethren, [saying], Except ye be circumcised after the custom of Moses, ye cannot be saved. And certain men who came down from Judea, taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
Acts 15:2Between these new comers and Paul and Barnabas there was no little disagreement and controversy, until at last it was decided that Paul and Barnabas and some other brethren should go up to consult the Apostles and Elders in Jerusalem on this matter. And when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and questioning with them, [the brethren] appointed that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question. When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain others of them, should go to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question.
Acts 15:3So they set out, being accompanied for a short distance by some other members of the Church; and as they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, they told the whole story of the conversion of the Gentiles and inspired all the brethren with great joy. They therefore, being brought on their way by the church, passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren. And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice, and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy to all the brethren.
Acts 15:4Upon their arrival in Jerusalem they were cordially received by the Church, the Apostles, and the Elders; and they reported in detail all that God, working with them, had done. And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church and the apostles and the elders, and they rehearsed all things that God had done with them. And when they had come to Jerusalem, they were received by the church, and by the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.
Acts 15:5But certain men who had belonged to the sect of the Pharisees but were now believers, stood up in the assembly, and said, "Yes, Gentile believers ought to be circumcised and be ordered to keep the Law of Moses."But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees who believed, saying, It is needful to circumcise them, and to charge them to keep the law of Moses. But there rose certain of the sect of the Pharisees, who believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.
Acts 15:6Then the Apostles and Elders met to consider the matter; And the apostles and the elders were gathered together to consider of this matter. And the apostles and elders came together to consider of this matter.
Acts 15:7and after there had been a long discussion Peter rose to his feet. "It is within your own knowledge," he said, "that God originally made choice among you that from my lips the Gentiles were to hear the Message of the Good News, and believe. And when there had been much questioning, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Brethren, ye know that a good while ago God made choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose and said to them, Men, brethren, ye know that a good while ago, God made choice among us, that the Gentiles, by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
Acts 15:8And God, who knows all hearts, gave His testimony in their favour by bestowing the Holy Spirit on them just as He did on us;And God, who knoweth the heart, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Spirit, even as he did unto us; And God, who knoweth the hearts, bore them witness, giving to them the Holy Spirit, even as he did to us:
Acts 15:9and He made no difference between us and them, in that He cleansed their hearts by their faith.and he made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith. And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
Acts 15:10Now, therefore, why try an experiment upon God, by laying on the necks of these disciples a yoke which neither our forefathers nor we have been able to bear? Now therefore why make ye trial of God, that ye should put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
Acts 15:11On the contrary, we believe that it is by the grace of the Lord Jesus that we, as well as they, shall be saved."But we believe that we shall be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, in like manner as they. But we believe, that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, we shall be saved even as they.
Acts 15:12Then the whole assembly remained silent while they listened to the statement made by Paul and Barnabas as to all the signs and marvels that God had done among the Gentiles through their instrumentality. And all the multitude kept silence; and they hearkened unto Barnabas and Paul rehearsing what signs and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles through them. Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought by them among the Gentiles.

Acts 15:16"`"Afterwards I will return, and will rebuild David's fallen tent. Its ruins I will rebuild, and I will set it up again; After these things I will return, And I will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen; And I will build again the ruins thereof, And I will set it up: After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins of it; and I will set it up:
Acts 15:17In order that the rest of mankind may earnestly seek the Lord even all the nations which are called by My name,"That the residue of men may seek after the Lord, And all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, That the residue of men may seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.

Acts 15:19"My judgement, therefore, is against inflicting unexpected annoyance on those of the Gentiles who are turning to God.Wherefore my judgment is, that we trouble not them that from among the Gentiles turn to God; Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, who from among the Gentiles are turned to God:
Acts 15:20Yet let us send them written instructions to abstain from things polluted by connexion with idolatry, from fornication, from meat killed by strangling, and from blood.but that we write unto them, that they abstain from the pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from what is strangled, and from blood. For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath.
Acts 15:22Thereupon it was decided by the Apostles and Elders, with the approval of the whole Church, to choose suitable persons from among themselves and send them to Antioch, with Paul and Barnabas. Judas, called Bar-sabbas, and Silas, leading men among the brethren, were selected,Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, to choose men out of their company, and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; [namely], Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren: Then it pleased the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch, with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:

Acts 15:24As we have been informed that certain persons who have gone out from among us have disturbed you by their teaching and have unsettled your minds, without having received any such instructions from us;Forasmuch as we have heard that certain who went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls; to whom we gave no commandment; Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain who went out from us, have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law; to whom we gave no such commandment:

Acts 15:30They, therefore, having been solemnly sent, came down to Antioch, where they called together the whole assembly and delivered the letter. So they, when they were dismissed, came down to Antioch; and having gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle. Acts 15:31The people read it, and were delighted with the comfort it brought them. And when they had read it, they rejoiced for the consolation. Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.
Acts 15:32And Judas and Silas, being themselves also Prophets, gave them a long and encouraging talk, and strengthened them in the faith. And Judas and Silas, being themselves also prophets, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.
