| Romans 14:1 | I now pass to another subject. Receive as a friend a man whose faith is weak, but not for the purpose of deciding mere matters of opinion. | But him that is weak in faith receive ye, [yet] not for decision of scruples. | But receive him who is weak in faith, not for judging thoughts. |
| Romans 14:2 | One man's faith allows him to eat anything, while a man of weaker faith eats nothing but vegetables. | One man hath faith to eat all things: but he that is weak eateth herbs. | One man has faith to eat all things, but he who is weak eats herbs. |
