Romans 12:1I plead with you therefore, brethren, by the compassionsof God, to present all your faculties to Him as a living and holy sacrifice acceptable to Him. This with you will be an act of reasonable worship.I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, [which is] your spiritual service. I call upon you, therefore, brethren, through the compassions of God, to present your bodies a sacrifice living, sanctified, acceptable to God your intelligent service;
Romans 12:2And do not follow the customs of the present age, but be transformed by the entire renewal of your minds, so that you may learn by experience what God's will is that will which is good and beautiful and perfect.And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. and be not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, for your proving what [is] the will of God the good, and acceptable, and perfect.
Romans 12:3For through the authority graciously given to me I warn every individual among you not to value himself unduly, but to cultivate sobriety of judgement in accordance with the amount of faith which God has allotted to each one.For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think as to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to each man a measure of faith. For I say, through the grace that was given to me, to every one who is among you, not to think above what it behoveth to think; but to think so as to think wisely, as to each God did deal a measure of faith,
Romans 12:4For just as there are in the one human body many parts, and these parts have not all the same function;For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members have not the same office: for as in one body we have many members, and all the members have not the same office,
Romans 12:5so collectively we form one body in Christ, while individually we are linked to one another as its members.so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and severally members one of another. so we, the many, one body are in Christ, and members each one of one another.
Romans 12:6But since we have special gifts which differ in accordance with the diversified work graciously entrusted to us, if it is prophecy, let the prophet speak in exact proportion to his faith;And having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, whether prophecy, [let us prophesy] according to the proportion of our faith; And having gifts, different according to the grace that was given to us; whether prophecy `According to the proportion of faith!`
Romans 12:7if it is the gift of administration, let the administrator exercise a sound judgement in his duties.or ministry, [let us give ourselves] to our ministry; or he that teacheth, to his teaching; or ministration `In the ministration!` or he who is teaching `In the teaching!`
Romans 12:8The teacher must do the same in his teaching; and he who exhorts others, in his exhortation. He who gives should be liberal; he who is in authority should be energetic and alert; and he who succours the afflicted should do it cheerfully.or he that exhorteth, to his exhorting: he that giveth, [let him do it] with liberality; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness. or he who is exhorting `In the exhortation!` he who is sharing `In simplicity!` he who is leading `In diligence?` he who is doing kindness -- `In cheerfulness.`
Romans 12:9Let your love be perfectly sincere. Regard with horror what is evil; cling to what is right.Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. The love unfeigned: abhorring the evil; cleaving to the good;
Romans 12:10As for brotherly love, be affectionate to one another; in matters of worldly honour, yield to one another.In love of the brethren be tenderly affectioned one to another; in honor preferring one another; in the love of brethren, to one another kindly affectioned: in the honour going before one another;
Romans 12:11Do not be indolent when zeal is required. Be thoroughly warm-hearted, the Lord's own servants,in diligence not slothful; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; in the diligence not slothful; in the spirit fervent; the Lord serving;
Romans 12:12full of joyful hope, patient under persecution, earnest and persistent in prayer.rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing stedfastly in prayer; in the hope rejoicing; in the tribulation enduring; in the prayer persevering;
Romans 12:13Relieve the necessities of God's people; always practise hospitality.communicating to the necessities of the saints; given to hospitality. to the necessities of the saints communicating; the hospitality pursuing.
Romans 12:14Invoke blessings on your persecutors blessings, not curses.Bless them that persecute you; bless, and curse not. Bless those persecuting you; bless, and curse not;
Romans 12:15Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.Rejoice with them that rejoice; weep with them that weep. to rejoice with the rejoicing, and to weep with the weeping,
Romans 12:16Have full sympathy with one another. Do not give your mind to high things, but let humble ways content you. Do not be wise in your own conceits.Be of the same mind one toward another. Set not your mind on high things, but condescend to things that are lowly. Be not wise in your own conceits. of the same mind one toward another, not minding the high things, but with the lowly going along; become not wise in your own conceit;
Romans 12:17Pay back to no man evil for evil. Take thought for what is right and seemly in every one's esteem.Render to no man evil for evil. Take thought for things honorable in the sight of all men. giving back to no one evil for evil; providing right things before all men.
Romans 12:18If you can, so far as it depends on you, live at peace with all the world.If it be possible, as much as in you lieth, be at peace with all men. If possible so far as in you with all men being in peace;
Romans 12:19Do not be revengeful, my dear friends, but give way before anger; for it is written, "`Revenge belongs to Me: I will pay back,' says the Lord."Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto the wrath [of God]: for it is written, Vengeance belongeth unto me; I will recompense, saith the Lord. not avenging yourselves, beloved, but give place to the wrath, for it hath been written, `Vengeance [is] Mine,
Romans 12:20On the contrary, therefore, if your enemy is hungry, give him food; if he is thirsty, quench his thirst. For by doing this you will be heaping burning coals upon his head.But if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him to drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head. I will recompense again, saith the Lord;` if, then, thine enemy doth hunger, feed him; if he doth thirst, give him drink; for this doing, coals of fire thou shalt heap upon his head;
Romans 12:21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome the evil with goodness.Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Be not overcome by the evil, but overcome, in the good, the evil.
