| Titus 3:1 | Remind people that they must submit to the rulers who are in authority over them; that they must obey the magistrates, be prepared for every right action, | Make clear to them that they are to put themselves under rulers and authorities, to do what they are ordered, to be ready for every good work, | Put them in mind to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient to rule, to be ready to do every good work, |
| Titus 3:2 | not speak evil of any one, nor be contentious, but yield unselfishly to others and constantly manifest a forgiving spirit towards all men. | To say no evil of any man, not to be fighters, to give way to others, to be gentle in behaviour to all men. | to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, [to be] mild, shewing all meekness towards all men. |

| Titus 3:11 | for, as you know, a man of that description has turned aside from the right path and is a sinner self-condemned. | Clearly he is in error and a sinner, being self-judged. | knowing that such a one is perverted, and sins, being self-condemned. |
| Titus 3:12 | After I have sent Artemas or Tychicus to you, lose no time in joining me at Nicopolis; for I have decided to pass the winter there. | When I send Artemas or Tychicus to you, do your best to come to me at Nicopolis: for it is my purpose to be there for the winter. | When I shall send Artemas to thee, or Tychicus, use diligence to come to me to Nicopolis; for I have decided to winter there. |
