| Hebrews 3:1 | Therefore, holy brethren, sharers with others in a heavenly invitation, fix your thoughts on Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest whose followers we profess to be. | For this reason, holy brothers, marked out to have a part in heaven, give thought to Jesus the representative and high priest of our faith; | Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the apostle and chief priest of our profession, Christ Jesus, |

| Hebrews 3:18 | And to whom did He swear that they should not be admitted to His rest, if it was not to those who were disobedient? | And to whom did he make an oath that they might not come into his rest? was it not to those who went against his orders? | and to whom did He swear that they shall not enter into His rest, except to those who did not believe? |
| Hebrews 3:19 | And so we see that it was owing to lack of faith that they could not be admitted. | So we see that they were not able to go in because they had no belief. | and we see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief. |
