Romans 12:1I plead with you therefore, brethren, by the compassionsof God, to present all your faculties to Him as a living and holy sacrifice acceptable to Him. This with you will be an act of reasonable worship.For this reason I make request to you, brothers, by the mercies of God, that you will give your bodies as a living offering, holy, pleasing to God, which is the worship it is right for you to give him.I call upon you, therefore, brethren, through the compassions of God, to present your bodies a sacrifice living, sanctified, acceptable to God your intelligent service;
Romans 12:2And do not follow the customs of the present age, but be transformed by the entire renewal of your minds, so that you may learn by experience what God's will is that will which is good and beautiful and perfect.And let not your behaviour be like that of this world, but be changed and made new in mind, so that by experience you may have knowledge of the good and pleasing and complete purpose of God.and be not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, for your proving what [is] the will of God the good, and acceptable, and perfect.
Romans 12:3For through the authority graciously given to me I warn every individual among you not to value himself unduly, but to cultivate sobriety of judgement in accordance with the amount of faith which God has allotted to each one.But I say to every one of you, through the grace given to me, not to have an over-high opinion of himself, but to have wise thoughts, as God has given to every one a measure of faith.For I say, through the grace that was given to me, to every one who is among you, not to think above what it behoveth to think; but to think so as to think wisely, as to each God did deal a measure of faith,
Romans 12:4For just as there are in the one human body many parts, and these parts have not all the same function;For, as we have a number of parts in one body, but all the parts have not the same use,for as in one body we have many members, and all the members have not the same office,
Romans 12:5so collectively we form one body in Christ, while individually we are linked to one another as its members.So we, though we are a number of persons, are one body in Christ, and are dependent on one another;so we, the many, one body are in Christ, and members each one of one another.
Romans 12:6But since we have special gifts which differ in accordance with the diversified work graciously entrusted to us, if it is prophecy, let the prophet speak in exact proportion to his faith;And having different qualities by reason of the grace given to us, such as the quality of a prophet, let it be made use of in relation to the measure of our faith;And having gifts, different according to the grace that was given to us; whether prophecy `According to the proportion of faith!`
Romans 12:7if it is the gift of administration, let the administrator exercise a sound judgement in his duties.Or the position of a Deacon of the church, let a man give himself to it; or he who has the power of teaching, let him make use of it;or ministration `In the ministration!` or he who is teaching `In the teaching!`
Romans 12:8The teacher must do the same in his teaching; and he who exhorts others, in his exhortation. He who gives should be liberal; he who is in authority should be energetic and alert; and he who succours the afflicted should do it cheerfully.He who has the power of comforting, let him do so; he who gives, let him give freely; he who has the power of ruling, let him do it with a serious mind; he who has mercy on others, let it be with joy.or he who is exhorting `In the exhortation!` he who is sharing `In simplicity!` he who is leading `In diligence?` he who is doing kindness -- `In cheerfulness.`
Romans 12:9Let your love be perfectly sincere. Regard with horror what is evil; cling to what is right.Let love be without deceit. Be haters of what is evil; keep your minds fixed on what is good.The love unfeigned: abhorring the evil; cleaving to the good;
Romans 12:10As for brotherly love, be affectionate to one another; in matters of worldly honour, yield to one another.Be kind to one another with a brother's love, putting others before yourselves in honour;in the love of brethren, to one another kindly affectioned: in the honour going before one another;
Romans 12:11Do not be indolent when zeal is required. Be thoroughly warm-hearted, the Lord's own servants,Be not slow in your work, but be quick in spirit, as the Lord's servants;in the diligence not slothful; in the spirit fervent; the Lord serving;
Romans 12:12full of joyful hope, patient under persecution, earnest and persistent in prayer.Being glad in hope, quiet in trouble, at all times given to prayer,in the hope rejoicing; in the tribulation enduring; in the prayer persevering;
Romans 12:13Relieve the necessities of God's people; always practise hospitality.Giving to the needs of the saints, ready to take people into your houses.to the necessities of the saints communicating; the hospitality pursuing.
Romans 12:14Invoke blessings on your persecutors blessings, not curses.Give blessing and not curses to those who are cruel to you.Bless those persecuting you; bless, and curse not;
Romans 12:15Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.Take part in the joy of those who are glad, and in the grief of those who are sorrowing.to rejoice with the rejoicing, and to weep with the weeping,
Romans 12:16Have full sympathy with one another. Do not give your mind to high things, but let humble ways content you. Do not be wise in your own conceits.Be in harmony with one another. Do not have a high opinion of yourselves, but be in agreement with common people. Do not give yourselves an air of wisdom.of the same mind one toward another, not minding the high things, but with the lowly going along; become not wise in your own conceit;
Romans 12:17Pay back to no man evil for evil. Take thought for what is right and seemly in every one's esteem.Do not give evil for evil to any man. Let all your business be well ordered in the eyes of all men.giving back to no one evil for evil; providing right things before all men.
Romans 12:18If you can, so far as it depends on you, live at peace with all the world.As far as it is possible for you be at peace with all men.If possible so far as in you with all men being in peace;
Romans 12:19Do not be revengeful, my dear friends, but give way before anger; for it is written, "`Revenge belongs to Me: I will pay back,' says the Lord."Do not give punishment for wrongs done to you, dear brothers, but give way to the wrath of God; for it is said in the holy Writings, Punishment is mine, I will give reward, says the Lord.not avenging yourselves, beloved, but give place to the wrath, for it hath been written, `Vengeance [is] Mine,
Romans 12:20On the contrary, therefore, if your enemy is hungry, give him food; if he is thirsty, quench his thirst. For by doing this you will be heaping burning coals upon his head.But if one who has hate for you is in need of food or of drink, give it to him, for in so doing you will put coals of fire on his head.I will recompense again, saith the Lord;` if, then, thine enemy doth hunger, feed him; if he doth thirst, give him drink; for this doing, coals of fire thou shalt heap upon his head;
Romans 12:21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome the evil with goodness.Do not let evil overcome you, but overcome evil by good.Be not overcome by the evil, but overcome, in the good, the evil.
