Matthew 26:63 | Jesus however remained silent. Again the High Priest addressed Him. "In the name of the ever-living God," he said, "I now put you on your oath. Tell us whether you are the Christ, the Son of God." | But Jesus was silent. And the high priest answering said to him, I adjure thee by the living God that thou tell us if *thou* art the Christ the Son of God. | But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest said to him: I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us if thou be the Christ the Son of God. |

Moreover, I say to you, From henceforth ye shall see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of power, and coming on the clouds of heaven. | Jesus saith to him: Thou hast said it. Nevertheless I say to you, hereafter you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of the power of God, and coming in the clouds of heaven. |
Matthew 26:65 | Then the High Priest tore his robes and exclaimed, "Impious language! What further need have we of witnesses! See, you have now heard the impiety. | Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He has blasphemed: what need have we any more of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard the blasphemy. | Then the high priests rent his garments, saying: He hath blasphemed; what further need have we of witnesses? Behold, now you have heard the blasphemy: |
Matthew 26:66 | What is your verdict?" "He deserves to die," they replied. | What think ye? And they answering said, He is liable to the penalty of death. | What think you? But they answering, said: He is guilty of death. |

Matthew 26:68 | while they taunted Him, saying, "Christ, prove yourself a Prophet by telling us who it was that struck you." | saying, Prophesy to us, Christ, Who is it who struck thee? | Saying: Prophesy unto us, O Christ, who is he that struck thee? |
Matthew 26:69 | Peter meanwhile was sitting outside in the court of the palace, when one of the maidservants came over to him and said, "You too were with Jesus the Galilaean." | But Peter sat without in the palace-court; and a maid came to him, saying, And *thou* wast with Jesus the Galilaean. | But Peter sat without in the court: and there came to him a servant maid, saying: Thou also wast with Jesus the Galilean. |
Matthew 26:70 | He denied it before them all, saying, "I do not know what you mean." | But he denied before all, saying, I do not know what thou sayest. | But he denied before them all, saying: I know not what thou sayest. |
Matthew 26:71 | Soon afterwards he went out and stood in the gateway, when another girl saw him, and said, addressing the people there, "This man was with Jesus the Nazarene." | And when he had gone out into the entrance, another [maid] saw him, and says to those there, This [man] also was with Jesus the Nazaraean. | And as he went out of the gate, another maid saw him, and she saith to them that were there: This man also was with Jesus of Nazareth. |
Matthew 26:72 | Again he denied it with an oath. "I do not know the man," he said. | And again he denied with an oath: I do not know the man. | And again he denied with an oath, I know not the man. |
Matthew 26:73 | A short time afterwards the people standing there came and said to Peter, "Certainly you too are one of them, for your brogue shows it." | And after a little, those who stood [there], coming to [him], said to Peter, Truly *thou* too art of them, for also thy speech makes thee manifest. | And after a little while they came that stood by, and said to Peter: Surely thou also art one of them; for even thy speech doth discover thee. |
Matthew 26:74 | Then with curses and oaths he declared, "I do not know the man." Immediately a cock crowed, | Then he began to curse and to swear, I know not the man. And immediately [the] cock crew. | Then he began to curse and to swear that he knew not the man. And immediately the cock crew. |
Matthew 26:75 | and Peter recollected the words of Jesus, how He had said, "Before the cock crows you will three times disown me." And he went out and wept aloud, bitterly. | And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, who had said [to him], Before [the] cock crow thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went forth without, and wept bitterly. | And Peter remembered the word of Jesus which he had said: Before the cock crow, thou wilt deny me thrice. And going forth, he wept bitterly. |
