Galatians 6:1 | Brethren, if anybody be detected in any misconduct, you who are spiritual should restore such a one in a spirit of meekness. And let each of you keep watch over himself, lest he also fall into temptation. | Brethren, if even a man be taken in some fault, ye who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of meekness, considering thyself lest *thou* also be tempted. | Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren't tempted. |
Galatians 6:2 | Always carry one another's burdens, and so obey the whole of Christ's Law. | Bear one another's burdens, and thus fulfil the law of the Christ. | Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. |
Galatians 6:3 | For if there is any one who thinks himself to be somebody when he is nobody, he is deluding himself. | For if any man reputes himself to be something, being nothing, he deceives himself; | For if a man thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. |
Galatians 6:4 | But let every man scrutinize his own conduct, and then he will find out, not with reference to another but with reference to himself, what he has to boast of. | but let each prove his own work, and then he will have his boast in what belongs to himself alone, and not in what belongs to another. | But let each man test his own work, and then he will take pride in himself and not in his neighbor. |
Galatians 6:5 | For every man will have to carry his own load. | For each shall bear his own burden. | For each man will bear his own burden. |
Galatians 6:6 | But let those who receive instruction in Christian truth share with their instructors all temporal blessings. | Let him that is taught in the word communicate to him that teaches in all good things. | But let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches. |
Galatians 6:7 | Do not deceive yourselves. God is not to be scoffed at. For whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. | Be not deceived: God is not mocked; for whatever a man shall sow, that also shall he reap. | Don't be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that will he also reap. |
Galatians 6:8 | He who sows in the field of his lower nature, will from that nature reap destruction; but he who sows to serve the Spirit will from the Spirit reap the Life of the Ages. | For he that sows to his own flesh, shall reap corruption from the flesh; but he that sows to the Spirit, from the Spirit shall reap eternal life: | For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. |
Galatians 6:9 | Let us not abate our courage in doing what is right; for in due time we shall reap a reward, if we do not faint. | but let us not lose heart in doing good; for in due time, if we do not faint, we shall reap. | Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up. |
Galatians 6:10 | So then, as we have opportunity, let us labour for the good of all, and especially of those who belong to the household of the faith. | So then, as we have occasion, let us do good towards all, and specially towards those of the household of faith. | So then, as we have opportunity, let us work that which is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith. |
Galatians 6:11 | See in what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand. | See how long a letter I have written to you with my own hand. | See with what large letters I write to you with my own hand. |
Galatians 6:12 | All who desire to display their zeal for external observances try to compel you to receive circumcision, but their real object is simply to escape being persecuted for the Cross of Christ. | As many as desire to have a fair appearance in [the] flesh, these compel you to be circumcised, only that they may not be persecuted because of the cross of Christ. | As many as desire to look good in the flesh, they compel you to be circumcised; only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. |
Galatians 6:13 | For these very men do not really keep the Law of Moses, but they would have you receive circumcision in order that they may glory in *your* bodies. | For neither do they that are circumcised themselves keep the law; but they wish you to be circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh. | For even they who receive circumcision don't keep the law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh. |
Galatians 6:14 | But as for me, God forbid that I should glory in anything except the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, upon which the world is crucified to me, and I am crucified to the world. | But far be it from me to boast save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom [the] world is crucified to me, and I to the world. | But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. |
Galatians 6:15 | For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision is of any importance; but only a renewed nature. | For [in Christ Jesus] neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision; but new creation. | For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. |
Galatians 6:16 | And all who shall regulate their lives by this principle may peace and mercy be given to them and to the true Israel of God. | And as many as shall walk by this rule, peace upon them and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. | As many as will walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on God's Israel. |
Galatians 6:17 | From this time onward let no one trouble me; for, as for me, I bear, branded on my body, the scars of Jesus as my Master. | For the rest let no one trouble me, for *I* bear in my body the brands of the Lord Jesus. | From now on, let no one cause me any trouble, for I bear the marks of Jesus branded on my body. |
Galatians 6:18 | May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirits, brethren. Amen. | The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with your spirit, brethren. Amen. | The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen. |
