| John 7:1 | After this Jesus moved from place to place in Galilee. He would not go about in Judaea, because the Jews were seeking an opportunity to kill Him. | And after these things Jesus walked in Galilee, for he would not walk in Judaea, because the Jews sought to kill him. | After these things, Jesus walked in Galilee, for he would not walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him. |

| John 7:18 | The man whose teaching originates with himself aims at his own glory. He who aims at the glory of Him who sent him teaches the truth, and there is no deception in him. | He that speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but he that seeks the glory of him that has sent him, he is true, and unrighteousness is not in him. | He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. |
