| Luke 18:1 | He also taught them by a parable that they must always pray and never lose heart. | And he spoke also a parable to them to the purport that they should always pray and not faint, | And he spake also a simile to them, that it behoveth [us] always to pray, and not to faint, |
| Luke 18:2 | "In a certain town," He said, "there was a judge who had no fear of God and no respect for man. | saying, There was a judge in a city, not fearing God and not respecting man: | saying, `A certain judge was in a certain city God he is not fearing, and man he is not regarding |
| Luke 18:3 | And in the same town was a widow who repeatedly came and entreated him, saying, "`Give me justice and stop my oppressor.' | and there was a widow in that city, and she came to him, saying, Avenge me of mine adverse party. | and a widow was in that city, and she was coming unto him, saying, Do me justice on my opponent, |

| Luke 18:8 | Yes, He will soon avenge their wrongs. Yet, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?" | I say unto you that he will avenge them speedily.
