You learn how to distinguish the aspect of the heavens, but the signs of the times you cannot.and in the morning, A storm to-day, for the sky is red [and] lowering; ye know [how] to discern the face of the sky, but ye cannot the signs of the times.and at morning, Foul weather to-day, for the heaven is red gloomy; hypocrites, the face of the heavens indeed ye do know to discern, but the signs of the times ye are not able!
Matthew 16:4A wicked and faithless generation are eager for a sign; but none shall be given to them except the sign of Jonah." and He left them and went away.A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and a sign shall not be given to it save the sign of Jonas. And he left them and went away.`A generation evil and adulterous doth seek a sign, and a sign shall not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet;` and having left them he went away.
Matthew 16:5When the disciples arrived at the other side of the Lake, they found that they had forgotten to bring any bread;And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.And his disciples having come to the other side, forgot to take loaves,
Matthew 16:6and when Jesus said to them, "See to it: beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees,"And Jesus said to them, See and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.and Jesus said to them, `Beware, and take heed of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees;`
Matthew 16:7they reasoned among themselves, saying, "It is because we have not brought any bread."And they reasoned among themselves, saying, Because we have taken no bread.and they were reasoning in themselves, saying, `Because we took no loaves.`

Matthew 16:9Do you not yet understand? nor even remember the 5,000 and the five loaves, and how many basketfuls you carried away,Do ye not yet understand nor remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many hand-baskets ye took [up]?do ye not yet understand, nor remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many hand-baskets ye took up?
Matthew 16:10nor the 4,000 and the seven loaves, and how many hampers you carried away?nor the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took [up]?nor the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?

But beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees."How do ye not understand that [it was] not concerning bread I said to you, Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees?how do ye not understand that I did not speak to you of bread to take heed of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees?`
Matthew 16:12Then they perceived that He had not warned them against bread-yeast, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.Then they comprehended that he did not speak of being beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.Then they understood that he did not say to take heed of the leaven of the bread, but of the teaching, of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

Matthew 16:18And I declare to you that you are Peter, and that upon this Rock I will build my Church, and the might of Hades shall not triumph over it.And *I* also, I say unto thee that *thou* art Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and hades' gates shall not prevail against it.`And I also say to thee, that thou art a rock, and upon this rock I will build my assembly, and gates of Hades shall not prevail against it;
Matthew 16:19I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of the Heavens; and whatever you bind on earth shall remain bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall remain loosed in Heaven."And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of the heavens; and whatsoever thou mayest bind upon the earth shall be bound in the heavens; and whatsoever thou mayest loose on the earth shall be loosed in the heavens.and I will give to thee the keys of the reign of the heavens, and whatever thou mayest bind upon the earth shall be having been bound in the heavens, and whatever thou mayest loose upon the earth shall be having been loosed in the heavens.`

Matthew 16:25For whoever desires to save his life shall lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake shall find it.For whosoever shall desire to save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake shall find it.for whoever may will to save his life, shall lose it, and whoever may lose his life for my sake shall find it,
Matthew 16:26Why, what benefit will it be to a man if he gains the whole world but forfeits his life? Or what shall a man give to buy back his life?For what does a man profit, if he should gain the whole world and suffer the loss of his soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?for what is a man profited if he may gain the whole world, but of his life suffer loss? or what shall a man give as an exchange for his life?
