| Matthew 18:1 | Just then the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Who ranks higher than others in the Kingdom of the Heavens?" | At that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Who thinkest thou is the greater in the kingdom of heaven? | At the same time came the disciples to Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? |
| Matthew 18:2 | So He called a young child to Him, and, bidding him stand in the midst of them, | And Jesus calling unto him a little child, set him in the midst of them, | And Jesus called a little child to him, and set him in the midst of them, |
| Matthew 18:3 | said, "In solemn truth I tell you that unless you turn and become like little children, you will in no case be admitted into the Kingdom of the Heavens. | And said: Amen I say to you, unless you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. | And said, Verily I say to you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. |

It is better for you to enter into Life crippled in hand or foot than to remain in possession of two sound hands or feet but be thrown into the fire of the Ages. | And if thy hand, or thy foot scandalize thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee. It is better for thee to go into life maimed or lame, than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into everlasting fire. | Wherefore, if thy hand or thy foot causeth thee to sin, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into everlasting fire. |
