| Matthew 19:1 | When Jesus had finished these discourses, He removed from Galilee and came into that part of Judaea which lay beyond the Jordan. | And it came to pass when Jesus had ended these words, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judea, beyond Jordan. | And it came to pass, when Jesus finished these words, he removed from Galilee, and did come to the borders of Judea, beyond the Jordan, |

| Matthew 19:3 | Then came some of the Pharisees to Him to put Him to the proof by the question, "Has a man a right to divorce his wife whenever he chooses?" | And there came to him the Pharisees tempting him, and saying: Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? | And the Pharisees came near to him, tempting him, and saying to him, `Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?` |

| Matthew 19:8 | "Moses," He replied, "in consideration of the hardness of your nature permitted you to put away your wives, but it has not been so from the beginning. | He saith to them: Because Moses by reason of the hardness of your heart permitted you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. | He saith to them `Moses for your stiffness of heart did suffer you to put away your wives, but from the beginning it hath not been so. |
| Matthew 19:9 | And I tell you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except her unfaithfulness, and marries another woman, commits adultery." | And I say to you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and he that shall marry her that is put away, committeth adultery. | `And I say to you, that, whoever may put away his wife, if not for whoredom, and may marry another, doth commit adultery; and he who did marry her that hath been put away, doth commit adultery.` |

He that can take, let him take it. | for there are eunuchs who from the mother`s womb were so born; and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who kept themselves eunuchs because of the reign of the heavens: he who is able to receive [it] let him receive.` |

But if you desire to enter into Life, keep the Commandments." | Who said to him: Why asketh thou me concerning good? One is good, God. But if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. | And he said to him, `Why me dost thou call good? no one [is] good except One God; but if thou dost will to enter into the life, keep the commands.` |
