| Galatians 5:1 | Christ having made us gloriously free stand fast and do not again be hampered with the yoke of slavery. | Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. | Christ has truly made us free: then keep your free condition and let no man put a yoke on you again. |
| Galatians 5:2 | Remember that it is I Paul who tell you that if you receive circumcision Christ will avail you nothing. | Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. | See, I Paul say to you, that if you undergo circumcision, Christ will be of no use to you. |
