Luke 22:2 | and the High Priests and the Scribes were contriving how to destroy Him. But they feared the people. | And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people. | And the chief priests and the scribes were looking for a chance to put him to death, but they went in fear of the people. |
Luke 22:3 | Satan, however, entered into Judas (the man called Iscariot) who was one of the Twelve. | Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. | And Satan came into Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve. |
Luke 22:4 | He went and conferred with the High Priests and Commanders as to how he should deliver Him up to them. | And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them. | And he went away and had a discussion with the chief priests and the rulers, about how he might give him up to them. |
Luke 22:5 | This gave them great pleasure, and they agreed to pay him. | And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money. | And they were glad, and undertook to give him money. |
Luke 22:6 | He accepted their offer, and then looked out for an opportunity to betray Him when the people were not there. | And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude. | And he made an agreement with them to give him up to them, if he got a chance, when the people were not present. |
Luke 22:7 | When the day of the Unleavened Bread came the day for the Passover lamb to be sacrificed | Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed. | And the day of unleavened bread came, when the Passover lamb is put to death. |
Luke 22:8 | Jesus sent Peter and John with instructions. "Go," He said, "and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat it." | And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat. | And Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, Go and make the Passover ready for us, so that we may take it. |
Luke 22:9 | "Where shall we prepare it?" they asked. | And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare? | And they said to him, Where are we to get it ready? |
Luke 22:10 | "You will no sooner have entered the city," He replied, "than you will meet a man carrying a pitcher of water. Follow him into the house to which he goes, | And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in. | And he said to them, When you go into the town you will see a man coming to you with a vessel of water; go after him into the house into which he goes. |
Luke 22:11 | and say to the master of the house, "`The Rabbi asks you, Where is the room where I can eat the Passover with my disciples?' | And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? | And say to the master of the house, The Master says, Where is the guest-room, where I may take the Passover with my disciples? |

Luke 22:16 | for I tell you that I certainly shall not eat one again till its full meaning has been brought out in the Kingdom of God." | For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. | For I say to you, I will not take it till it is made complete in the kingdom of God. |
Luke 22:17 | Then, having received the cup and given thanks, He said, "Take this and share it among yourselves; | And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: | And he took a cup and, having given praise, he said, Make division of this among yourselves; |
Luke 22:18 | for I tell you that from this time I will never drink the produce of the vine till the Kingdom of God has come." | For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. | For I say to you, I will not take of the fruit of the vine till the kingdom of God has come. |
Luke 22:19 | Then, taking a Passover biscuit, He gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body which is being given on your behalf: this do in remembrance of me." | And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. | And he took bread and, having given praise, he gave it to them when it had been broken, saying, This is my body, which is given for you: do this in memory of me. |

"This cup," He said, "is the new Covenant ratified by my blood which is to be poured out on your behalf. | Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. | And in the same way, after the meal, he took the cup, saying, This cup is the new testament, made with my blood which is given for you. |

Luke 22:22 | For indeed the Son of Man goes on His way His pre-destined way; yet alas for that man who is betraying Him!" | And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed! | For it will be done to the Son of man after the purpose of God, but unhappy is that man by whom he is given up. |
Luke 22:23 | Thereupon they began to discuss with one another which of them it could possibly be who was about to do this. | And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing. | And they were wondering among themselves which of them it was who would do this thing. |

Luke 22:26 | With you it is not so; but let the greatest among you be as the younger, and the leader be like him who serves. | But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. | But let it not be so with you; but he who is greater, let him become like the younger; and he who is chief, like a servant. |
Luke 22:27 | For which is the greater he who sits at table, or he who waits on him? Is it not he who sits at table? But my position among you is that of one who waits on others. | For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth. | For which is greater, the guest who is seated at a meal or the servant who is waiting on him? is it not the guest? but I am among you as a servant. |

Luke 22:37 | For I tell you that those words of Scripture must yet find their fulfilment in me: `And He was reckoned among the lawless'; for indeed that saying about me has its accomplishment." | For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end. | For I say to you that these words will be put into effect in me, And he was numbered among the evil-doers: for what has been said in the Writings about me has an end. |

Luke 22:60 | "Man, I don't know what you mean," replied Peter. No sooner had he spoken than a cock crowed. | And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And straight away, while he was saying these words, there came the cry of a cock. |
Luke 22:61 | The Master turned and looked on Peter; and Peter recollected the Master's words, how He had said to him, "This very day, before the cock crows, you will disown me three times." | And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. | And the Lord, turning, gave Peter a look.
