| Matthew 18:1 | Just then the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Who ranks higher than others in the Kingdom of the Heavens?" | At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? | At that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Who thinkest thou is the greater in the kingdom of heaven? |
| Matthew 18:2 | So He called a young child to Him, and, bidding him stand in the midst of them, | And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, | And Jesus calling unto him a little child, set him in the midst of them, |
| Matthew 18:3 | said, "In solemn truth I tell you that unless you turn and become like little children, you will in no case be admitted into the Kingdom of the Heavens. | And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. | And said: Amen I say to you, unless you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. |

They cannot but come, but alas for each man through whom they come! | Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! | Woe to the world because of scandals. | Matthew 18:8 | If your hand or your foot is causing you to fall into sin, cut it off and away with it. It is better for you to enter into Life crippled in hand or foot than to remain in possession of two sound hands or feet but be thrown into the fire of the Ages. | Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. | And if thy hand, or thy foot scandalize thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee. It is better for thee to go into life maimed or lame, than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into everlasting fire. |

| Matthew 18:13 | And if he succeeds in finding it, in solemn truth I tell you that he rejoices over it more than he does over the ninety-nine that have not gone astray. | And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. | And if it so be that he find it: Amen I say to you, he rejoiceth more for that, than for the ninety-nine that went not astray. |
