| Mark 16:1 | When the Sabbath was over, Mary of Magdala, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, in order to come and anoint His body. | And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. | And the sabbath having past, Mary the Magdalene, and Mary of James, and Salome, bought spices, that having come, they may anoint him, |
| Mark 16:2 | So, very soon after sunrise on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb; | And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. | and early in the morning of the first of the sabbaths, they come unto the sepulchre, at the rising of the sun, |
| Mark 16:3 | and they were saying to one another, `Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?" | And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? | and they said among themselves, `Who shall roll away for us the stone out of the door of the sepulchre?` |
