Matthew 15:2"Why do your disciples transgress the tradition of the Elders by not washing their hands before meals?"Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
Matthew 15:3"Why do you, too," He retorted, "transgress God's commands for the sake of your tradition?But he answered and said to them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
Matthew 15:4For God said, `Honour thy father and thy mother'; and `Let him who reviles father or mother be certainly put to death';For God commanded, saying, Honor thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
Matthew 15:5but you this is what you say: `If a man says to his father or mother, That is consecrated, whatever it is, which otherwise you should have received from meBut ye say, Whoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatever thou mightest be profited by me;But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
Matthew 15:6he shall be absolved from honouring his father'; and so you have abrogated God's Word for the sake of your tradition.And honor not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition.And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
Matthew 15:7Hypocrites! well did Isaiah prophesy of you,Ye hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
Matthew 15:8"`This is a People who honour Me with their lips, while their heart is far away from Me;This people draw nigh to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
Matthew 15:9but it is in vain they worship Me, while they lay down precepts which are mere human rules.'"But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Matthew 15:11It is not what goes into a man's mouth that defiles him; but it is what comes out of his mouth *that* defiles a man."Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
Matthew 15:12Then His disciples came and said to Him, "Do you know that the Pharisees were greatly shocked when they heard those words?"Then came his disciples, and said to him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended after they heard this saying?Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
Matthew 15:13"Every plant," He replied, "which my Heavenly Father has not planted will be rooted up.But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be extirpated.But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
Matthew 15:14Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind; and if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into some pit."Let them alone: they are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leadeth the blind, both will fall into the ditch.Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
Matthew 15:15"Explain to us this figurative language," said Peter.Then answered Peter and said to him, Declare to us this parable.Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.
Matthew 15:16"Are even you," He answered, "still without intellingence?And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?
Matthew 15:17Do you not understand that whatever enters the mouth passes into the stomach and is afterwards ejected from the body?Do ye not yet understand, that whatever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
Matthew 15:18But the things that come out of the mouth proceed from the heart, and it is these that defile the man.But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

Matthew 15:21Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew into the vicinity of Tyre and Sidon.Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the territories of Tyre and Sidon.Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.
Matthew 15:22Here a Canaanitish woman of the district came out and persistently cried out, "Sir, Son of David, pity me; my daughter is cruelly harassed by a demon."And behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same territories, and cried to him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously afflicted with a demon.And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
Matthew 15:23But He answered her not a word. Then the disciples interposed, and begged Him, saying, "Send her away because she keeps crying behind us."But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
Matthew 15:24"I have only been sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel," He replied.But he answered and said, I am not sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Matthew 15:25Then she came and threw herself at His feet and entreated Him. "O Sir, help me," she said.Then came she and worshiped him, saying, Lord, help me.Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
Matthew 15:26"It is not right," He said, "to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs."But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
Matthew 15:27"Be it so, Sir," she said, "for even the dogs eat the scraps which fall from their masters' tables."And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crums which fall from their master's table.And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
Matthew 15:28"O woman," replied Jesus, "great is your faith: be it done to you as you desire." And from that moment her daughter was restored to health.Then Jesus answered and said to her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it to thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was healed from that very hour.Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
Matthew 15:29Again, moving thence, Jesus went along by the Lake of Galilee; and ascending the hill, He sat down there.And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh to the sea of Galilee; and ascended a mountain, and sat down there.And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.
Matthew 15:30Soon great crowds came to Him, bringing with them those who were crippled in feet or hands, blind or dumb, and many besides, and they hastened to lay them at His feet. And He cured them,And great multitudes came to him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them:And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them:
Matthew 15:31so that the people were amazed to see the dumb speaking, the maimed with their hands perfect, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they gave the glory to the God of Israel.So that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
Matthew 15:32But Jesus called His disciples to Him and said, "My heart yearns over this mass of people, for it is now the third day that they have been with me and they have nothing to eat. I am unwilling to send them away hungry, lest they should faint on the road."Then Jesus called his disciples to him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.
Matthew 15:33"Where can we," asked the disciples, "get bread enough in this remote place to satisfy so vast a multitude?"And his disciples say to him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to satisfy so great a multitude?And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?
Matthew 15:34"How many loaves have you?" Jesus asked. "Seven," they said, "and a few small fish."And Jesus saith to them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.

Matthew 15:37And they all ate and were satisfied. Matthew 15:38Those who ate were 4,000 adult men, without reckoning women and children.And they that had eaten were four thousand men, besides women and children.And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.
Matthew 15:39He then dismissed the people, went on board the boat, and came into the district of Magadan.And he sent away the multitude, and took a boat, and came into the borders of Magdala.And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala.
