Matthew 24:1 | Jesus had left the Temple and was going on His way, when His disciples came and called His attention to the Temple buildings. | Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way. His disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple. | And Jesus went forth and went away from the temple, and his disciples came to [him] to point out to him the buildings of the temple. |
Matthew 24:2 | "You see all these?" He replied; "in solemn truth I tell you that there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be pulled down." | But he answered them, "Don't you see all of these things? Most assuredly I tell you, there will not be left here one stone on another, that will not be thrown down." | And he answering said to them, Do ye not see all these things? Verily I say to you, Not a stone shall be left here upon a stone which shall not be thrown down. |
Matthew 24:3 | Afterwards He was on the Mount of Olives and was seated there when the disciples came to Him, apart from the others, and said, "Tell us when this will be; and what will be the sign of your Coming and of the Close of the Age?" | As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?" | And as he was sitting upon the mount of Olives the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be, and what is the sign of thy coming and [the] completion of the age? |
Matthew 24:4 | "Take care that no one misleads you," answered Jesus; | Jesus answered them, "Be careful that no one leads you astray. | And Jesus answering said to them, See that no one mislead you. |
Matthew 24:5 | "for many will come assuming my name and saying `I am the Christ;' and they will mislead many. | For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will lead many astray. | For many shall come in my name, saying, *I* am the Christ, and they shall mislead many. |
Matthew 24:6 | And before long you will hear of wars and rumours of wars. Do not be alarmed, for such things must be; but the End is not yet. | You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren't troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet. | But ye will hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that ye be not disturbed; for all [these things] must take place, but it is not yet the end. |
Matthew 24:7 | For nation will rise in arms against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places; | For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places. | For nation shall rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places. |
Matthew 24:8 | but all these miseries are but like the early pains of childbirth. | But all these things are the beginning of birth pains. | But all these [are the] beginning of throes. |
Matthew 24:9 | "At that time they will deliver you up to punishment and will put you to death; and you will be objects of hatred to all the nations because you are called by my name. | Then they will deliver you up to oppression, and will kill you. You will be hated by all of the nations for my name's sake. | Then shall they deliver you up to tribulation, and shall kill you; and ye will be hated of all the nations for my name's sake. |
Matthew 24:10 | Then will many stumble and fall, and they will betray one another and hate one another. | Then will many stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another. | And then will many be offended, and will deliver one another up, and hate one another; |
Matthew 24:11 | Many false prophets will rise up and lead multitudes astray; | Many false prophets will arise, and will lead many astray. | and many false prophets shall arise and shall mislead many; |
Matthew 24:12 | and because of the prevalent disregard of God's law the love of the great majority will grow cold; | Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold. | and because lawlessness shall prevail, the love of the most shall grow cold; |
Matthew 24:13 | but those who stand firm to the End shall be saved. | But he who endures to the end, the same will be saved. | but he that has endured to the end, *he* shall be saved. |
Matthew 24:14 | And this Good News of the Kingdom shall be proclaimed throughout the whole world to set the evidence before all the Gentiles; and then the End will come. | This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. | And these glad tidings of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole habitable earth, for a witness to all the nations, and then shall come the end. |
Matthew 24:15 | "When you have seen (to use the language of the Prophet Daniel) the `Abomination of Desolation', standing in the Holy Place" let the reader observe those words | When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), | When therefore ye shall see the abomination of desolation, which is spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in [what is a] holy place, (he that reads let him understand,) |
Matthew 24:16 | "then let those who are in Judaea escape to the hills; | then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. | then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountains; |
Matthew 24:17 | let him who is on the roof not go down to fetch what is in his house; | Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take out things that are in his house. | let not him that is on the house come down to take the things out of his house; |

Matthew 24:19 | And alas for the women who at that time are with child or have infants! | But woe to those who are with child and to nursing mothers in those days! | But woe to those that are with child, and those that give suck in those days. |
Matthew 24:20 | "But pray that your flight may not be in winter, nor on the Sabbath; | Pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on a Sabbath, | But pray that your flight may not be in winter time nor on sabbath: |
Matthew 24:21 | for it will be a time of great suffering, such as never has been from the beginning of the world till now, and assuredly never will be again. | for then will be great oppression, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be. | for then shall there be great tribulation, such as has not been from [the] beginning of [the] world until now, nor ever shall be; |
Matthew 24:22 | And if those days had not been cut short, no one would escape; but for the sake of God's own People those days will be cut short. | Except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the elect's sake, those days will be shortened. | and if those days had not been cut short, no flesh had been saved; but on account of the elect those days shall be cut short. |
Matthew 24:23 | "If at that time any one should say to you, `See, here is the Christ!' or `Here!' give no credence to it. | Then if any man will tell you, 'Behold, here is the Christ,' or, 'There,' don't believe it. | Then if any one say to you, Behold, here is the Christ, or here, believe [it] not. |
Matthew 24:24 | For there will rise up false Christs and false prophets, displaying wonderful signs and prodigies, so as to deceive, were it possible, even God's own People. | For there will arise false Christs, and false prophets, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. | For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall give great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. |

Matthew 24:30 | Then will appear the Sign of the Son of Man in the sky; and then will all the nations of the earth lament, when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with great power and glory. | and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Matthew 24:36 | "But as to that day and the exact time no one knows not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. | But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only. | But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of the heavens, but [my] Father alone. |
Matthew 24:37 | `For as it was in the time of Noah, so it will be at the Coming of the Son of Man. | As the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. | But as the days of Noe, so also shall be the coming of the Son of man. |
