| Mark 4:1 | Once more He began to teach by the side of the Lake, and a vast multitude of people came together to listen to Him. He therefore went on board the boat and sat there, a little way from the land; and all the people were on the shore close to the water. | Again he began to teach by the seaside. A great multitude was gathered to him, so that he entered into a boat in the sea, and sat down. All the multitude were on the land by the sea. | And he began again to teach by the sea-side: and there was gathered to him a great multitude, so that he entered into a boat, and sat on the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea, on the land. |
| Mark 4:2 | Then He proceeded to teach them many lessons in figurative language; and in His teaching He said, | He taught them many things in parables, and told them in his teaching, | And he taught them many things by parables, and said to them in his doctrine, |
| Mark 4:3 | "Listen: the sower goes out to sow. | "Listen! Behold, the farmer went forth to sow, | Hearken; Behold, a sower went out to sow: |
