| Romans 5:1 | Standing then acquitted as the result of faith, let us enjoy peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, | Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; | Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ: |
| Romans 5:2 | through whom also, as the result of faith, we have obtained an introduction into that state of favour with God in which we stand, and we exult in hope of some day sharing in God's glory. | through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. For if through the transgression of the one individual the mass of mankind have died, infinitely greater is the generosity with which God's grace, and the gift given in His grace which found expression in the one man Jesus Christ, have been bestowed on the mass of mankind. | But the free gift isn't like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many. | But not as the offense, so also is the free gift. | Romans 5:16 | And it is not with the gift as it was with the results of one individual's sin; for the judgement which one individual provoked resulted in condemnation, whereas the free gift after a multitude of transgressions results in acquittal. | The gift is not as through one who sinned: for the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift came of many trespasses to justification. | And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift. For the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offenses to justification. |
