| Titus 3:1 | Remind people that they must submit to the rulers who are in authority over them; that they must obey the magistrates, be prepared for every right action, | Remind them to be subject to principalities and authorities, to obey rule, unto every good work to be ready, | Put them in mind to be in subjection to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready unto every good work, |

| Titus 3:3 | For there was a time when we also were deficient in understanding, obstinate, deluded, the slaves of various cravings and pleasures, spending our lives in malice and envy, hateful ourselves and hating one another. | for we were once also we thoughtless, disobedient, led astray, serving desires and pleasures manifold, in malice and envy living, odious hating one another; | For we also once were foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another. |

These things are good and profitable unto men: |
