| 1st-Peter 4:1 | Since, then, Christ has suffered in the flesh, you also must arm yourselves with a determination to do the same because he who has suffered in the flesh has done with sin | Christ, then, having suffered for us in the flesh, ye also with the same mind arm yourselves, because he who did suffer in the flesh hath done with sin, | So that as Jesus was put to death in the flesh, do you yourselves be of the same mind; for the death of the flesh puts an end to sin; |
| 1st-Peter 4:2 | that in future you may spend the rest of your earthly lives, governed not by human passions, but by the will of God. | no more in the desires of men, but in the will of God, to live the rest of the time in the flesh; | So that you may give the rest of your lives in the flesh, not to the desires of men, but to the purpose of God. |

| 1st-Peter 4:18 | And if it is difficult even for a righteous man to be saved, what will become of irreligious men and sinners? | And if the righteous man is scarcely saved, the ungodly and sinner where shall he appear? | And if it is hard for even the good man to get salvation, what chance has the man without religion or the sinner? |
