| Matthew 25:1 | "Then will the Kingdom of the Heavens be found to be like ten bridesmaids who took their torches and went out to meet the bridegroom. | `Then shall the reign of the heavens be likened to ten virgins, who, having taken their lamps, went forth to meet the bridegroom; | Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened to ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. |
| Matthew 25:2 | Five of them were foolish and five were wise. | and five of them were prudent, and five foolish; | And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. |
| Matthew 25:3 | For the foolish, when they took their torches, did not provide themselves with oil; | they who were foolish having taken their lamps, did not take with themselves oil; | They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: |
