Jonah 2:1Then Jonah prayed to Yahweh, his God, out of the fish's belly.Then Jonah prayed unto Jehovah his God out of the fish's belly. Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly,
Jonah 2:2He said, "I called because of my affliction to Yahweh. He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried. You heard my voice.And he said, I called by reason of mine affliction unto Jehovah, And he answered me; Out of the belly of Sheol cried I, [And] thou heardest my voice. And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
Jonah 2:3For you threw me into the depths, In the heart of the seas. The flood was all around me. All your waves and your billows passed over me.For thou didst cast me into the depth, in the heart of the seas, And the flood was round about me; All thy waves and thy billows passed over me. For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
Jonah 2:4I said, 'I have been banished from your sight; Yet I will look again toward your holy temple.'And I said, I am cast out from before thine eyes; Yet I will look again toward thy holy temple. Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
Jonah 2:5The waters surrounded me, Even to the soul. The deep was around me. The weeds were wrapped around my head.The waters compassed me about, even to the soul; The deep was round about me; The weeds were wrapped about my head. The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.
Jonah 2:6I went down to the bottoms of the mountains. The earth barred me in forever: Yet have you brought up my life from the pit, Yahweh my God.I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; The earth with its bars [closed] upon me for ever: Yet hast thou brought up my life from the pit, O Jehovah my God. I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.
Jonah 2:7"When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Yahweh. My prayer came in to you, into your holy temple.When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Jehovah; And my prayer came in unto thee, into thy holy temple. When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.
Jonah 2:8Those who regard lying vanities forsake their own mercy.They that regard lying vanities Forsake their own mercy. They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
Jonah 2:9But I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving. I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to Yahweh."But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation is of Jehovah. But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.
Jonah 2:10Yahweh spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on the dry land.And Jehovah spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land. And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
