Mark 14:5For this might have been sold for more than three hundred denarii, and given to the poor." They grumbled against her.We might have got more than three hundred pence for it, and given the money to the poor. And they said things against her among themselves.for this ointment could have been sold for more than three hundred denarii and given to the poor. And they spoke very angrily at her.
Mark 14:6But Jesus said, "Leave her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work for me.But Jesus said, Let her be; why are you troubling her? she has done a kind act to me.But Jesus said, Let her alone; why do ye trouble her? she has wrought a good work as to me;
Mark 14:7For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you want to, you can do them good; but you will not always have me.The poor you have ever with you, and whenever you have the desire you may do them good: but me you have not for ever.for ye have the poor always with you, and whenever ye would ye can do them good; but me ye have not always.
Mark 14:8She has done what she could. She has anointed my body beforehand for the burying.She has done what she was able: she has put oil on my body to make it ready for its last resting-place.What *she* could she has done. She has beforehand anointed my body for the burial.
Mark 14:9Most assuredly I tell you, wherever this gospel may be preached throughout the whole world, that also which this woman has done will be spoken of for a memorial of her."And truly I say to you, Wherever the good news goes out through all the earth, what this woman has done will be talked of in memory of her.And verily I say unto you, Wheresoever these glad tidings may be preached in the whole world, what this [woman] has done shall be also spoken of for a memorial of her.

Mark 14:21For the Son of Man goes, even as it is written about him, but woe to that man through whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would be better for that man if he had not been born."The Son of man goes, even as the Writings say of him: but cursed is that man through whom the Son of man is given up! It would have been well for that man if he had never been given birth.The Son of man goes indeed as it is written concerning him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is delivered up; [it were] good for that man if he had not been born.

Mark 14:68But he denied it, saying, "I neither know, nor understand what you are saying." Mark 14:70But he again denied it. After a little while again those who stood by said to Peter, "You truly are one of them, for you are a Galilean, and your speech shows it."But again he said it was not so. And after a little time, again those who were near said to Peter, Truly you are one of them; for you are a Galilaean.And he again denied. And again, after a little, those that stood by said to Peter, Truly thou art [one] of them, for also thou art a Galilean.
Mark 14:71But he began to curse, and to swear, "I don't know this man of whom you speak!"But, with curses and oaths, he said, I have no knowledge of the man about whom you are talking.But he began to curse and to swear, I know not this man of whom ye speak.
Mark 14:72The cock crowed the second time. Peter remembered the word, how that Jesus said to him, "Before the cock crows twice, you will deny me three times." When he thought about that, he wept.And in the same minute, the cock gave a second cry. And it came to Peter's mind how Jesus had said to him, Before the cock's second cry, you will say three times that you have no knowledge of me. And at this thought he was overcome with weeping.And the second time a cock crew. And Peter remembered the word that Jesus said to him, Before [the] cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice; and when he thought thereon he wept.
