| John 17:1 | Jesus said these things, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify you; | Jesus said these things; then, lifting his eyes to heaven, he said, Father, the time has now come; give glory to your Son, so that the Son may give glory to you: | These things Jesus spoke, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said: Father, the hour is come, glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee. |
| John 17:2 | even as you gave him authority over all flesh, that to all whom you have given him, he will give eternal life. | Even as you gave him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all those whom you have given to him. | As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he may give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him. |
