Matthew 22:12 | and he said to him, 'Friend, how did you come in here not having wedding-clothing?' He was speechless. | And he says to him, Friend, how came you in here not having a guest's robe? And he had nothing to say. | And he saith to him: Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? But he was silent. |
Matthew 22:13 | Then the king said to the servants, 'Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness; there is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.' | Then the king said to the servants, Put cords round his hands and feet and put him out into the dark; there will be weeping and cries of sorrow. | Then the king said to the waiters: Bind his hands and feet, and cast him into the exterior darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. |

Matthew 22:17 | Tell us therefore, what do you think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?" | Give us, then, your opinion of this: Is it right to give tax to Caesar, or not? | Tell us therefore what dost thou think, is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not? |
Matthew 22:18 | But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, "Why do you test me, you hypocrites? | But Jesus saw their trick and said, Oh false ones, why are you attempting to put me in the wrong? | But Jesus knowing their wickedness, said: Why do you tempt me, ye hypocrites? |
Matthew 22:19 | Show me the tax money." They brought to him a denarius. | Let me see the tax money. And they gave him a penny. | Shew me the coin of the tribute. And they offered him a penny. |

Matthew 22:24 | saying, "Teacher, Moses said, 'If a man dies, having no children, his brother will marry his wife, and raise up seed for his brother.' | Master, Moses said, If a man, at the time of his death, has no children, let his brother take his wife, and get a family for his brother; | Saying: Master, Moses said: If a man die having no son, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up issue to his brother. |
Matthew 22:25 | Now there were with us seven brothers. The first married and died, and having no seed left his wife to his brother. | Now there were among us seven brothers; and the first was married and at his death, having no seed, gave his wife to his brother; | Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first having married a wife, died; and not having issue, left his wife to his brother. |

Matthew 22:31 | But concerning the resurrection of the dead, haven't you read that which was spoken to you by God, saying, | But about the dead coming back to life, have you no knowledge of what was said to you by God in the Writings: | And concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read that which was spoken by God, saying to you: |
Matthew 22:32 | 'I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?' God is not the God of the dead, but of the living." | I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? Matthew 22:37 | Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' | And he said to him, Have love for the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. | Jesus said to him: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole mind. |
Matthew 22:38 | This is the first and great commandment. | This is the first and greatest rule. | This is the greatest and the first commandment. |
