Acts 14:1It happened in Iconium that they entered together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke that a great multitude both of Jews and of Greeks believed.Now in Iconium they went together to the Synagogue of the Jews and gave such teaching that a great number of Jews and Greeks had faith.And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.
Acts 14:2But the disobedient Jews stirred up and embittered the souls of the Gentiles against the brothers.But those Jews who had not the faith, made the minds of the Gentiles bitter against the brothers.But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the brethren.
Acts 14:3Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who testified to the word of his grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.So they kept there for a long time, taking heart in the Lord, who gave witness to the word of his grace by causing signs and wonders to be done by their hands.Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
Acts 14:4But the multitude of the city was divided. Part sided with the Jews, and part with the apostles.But there was a division among the people of the town; some were on the side of the Jews and some on the side of the Apostles.But the multitude of the city was divided: and part held with the Jews, and part with the apostles.
Acts 14:5When some of both the Gentiles and the Jews, with their rulers, made a violent attempt to insult them and to stone them,And when a violent attempt was made by the Gentiles and the Jews, with their rulers, to make an attack on them and have them stoned,And when there was an assault made both of the Gentiles, and also of the Jews with their rulers, to use them despitefully, and to stone them,
Acts 14:6they became aware of it, and fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra, Derbe, and the surrounding region.Having got news of it, they went in flight to the towns of Lycaonia, Lystra, and Derbe, and the country round about:They were ware of it, and fled unto Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and unto the region that lieth round about:
Acts 14:7There they preached the gospel.And went on preaching the good news there.And there they preached the gospel.

Acts 14:9He was listening to Paul speaking, who, fastening eyes on him, and seeing that he had faith to be made whole,This man was giving ear to the preaching of Paul, who, looking at him, and seeing that he had faith to be made well,The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,
Acts 14:10said with a loud voice, "Stand upright on your feet!" He leaped up and walked.Said in a loud voice, Get up on your feet. And, jumping up, he went walking about.Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.

Acts 14:12They called Barnabas "Jupiter," and Paul "Mercury," because he was the chief speaker.And they gave the name of Jupiter to Barnabas, and to Paul that of Mercury, because he was the chief talker.And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.
Acts 14:13The priest of Jupiter, whose temple was in front of their city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, and would have made a sacrifice with the multitudes.And the priest of the image of Jupiter, which was before the town, took oxen and flowers to the doors of the town, and was about to make an offering with the people.Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.

Acts 14:15"Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to the living God, who made the sky and the earth and the sea, and all that is in them;Good people, why are you doing these things? We are men with the same feelings as you, and we give you the good news so that you may be turned away from these foolish things to the living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all things in them:And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:
Acts 14:16who in the generations gone by allowed all the nations to walk in their own ways.Who in the past let all nations go in the ways which seemed good to them.Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.
Acts 14:17Yet he didn't leave himself without witness, in that he did good and gave you rains from the sky and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness."But he was not without witness, because he did good, and gave you rain from heaven and times of fruit, making your hearts full of food and joy.Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.
Acts 14:18Even saying these things, they hardly stopped the multitudes from making a sacrifice to them.And even with these words, it was hard for them to keep the people from making an offering to them.And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.
Acts 14:19But some Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there, and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul, and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead.But some Jews came to that place from Antioch and Iconium, and got control over the people; and after stoning Paul, they had him pulled out of the town, taking him for dead.And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.
Acts 14:20But as the disciples stood around him, he rose up, and entered into the city. On the next day he went out with Barnabas to Derbe.But when the disciples came round him, he got up and went into the town: and the day after he went away with Barnabas to Derbe.Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.
Acts 14:21When they had preached the gospel to that city, and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch,And having made a number of disciples through the preaching of the good news in that town, they went back to Lystra and Iconium and Antioch,And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,
Acts 14:22confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many afflictions we must enter into the kingdom of God.Making strong the souls of the disciples, saying to them that they were to keep the faith, and that we have to go through troubles of all sorts to come into the kingdom of God.Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Acts 14:26From there they sailed to Antioch, from where they had been committed to the grace of God for the work which they had fulfilled.And from there they went by ship to Antioch, where they had been handed over to the grace of God for the work which they had not done.And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.
Acts 14:27When they had arrived, and had gathered the assembly together, they reported all the things that God had done with them, and that he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.And when they came there, and had got the church together, they gave them an account of all the things which God had done through them, and how he had made open a door of faith to the Gentiles.And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.
Acts 14:28They stayed there with the disciples for a long time.And they were with the disciples there for a long time.And there they abode long time with the disciples.
