| Exodus 3:1 | Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to God's mountain, to Horeb. | Now Moses was looking after the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian: and he took the flock to the back of the waste land and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. | Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb. |

| Exodus 3:14 | God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM," and he said, "You shall tell the children of Israel this: "I AM has sent me to you." | And God said to him, I AM WHAT I AM: and he said, Say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you. | And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM: And he said, Thus shalt thou say to the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me to you. |

Now please let us go three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to Yahweh, our God.' | And they will give ear to your voice: and you, with the chiefs of Israel, will go to Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and say to him, The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has come to us: let us then go three days' journey into the waste land to make an offering to the Lord our God. | And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, to the king of Egypt, and ye shall say to him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go (we beseech thee) three days journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God. |
| Exodus 3:19 | I know that the king of Egypt won't give you permission to go, no, not by a mighty hand. | And I am certain that the king of Egypt will not let you go without being forced. | And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand. |
