Matthew 24:1Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way. His disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.And Jesus went out of the Temple, and on the way his disciples came to him, pointing out the buildings of the Temple.And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.
Matthew 24:2But he answered them, "Don't you see all of these things? Most assuredly I tell you, there will not be left here one stone on another, that will not be thrown down."But he, answering, said to them, See you not all these things? truly I say to you that here there will not be one stone resting on another, which will not be pulled down.And Jesus said to them, See ye not all these things? verily I say to you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
Matthew 24:3As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?"And while he was seated on the Mountain of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Make clear to us, when will these things be? and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the world?And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be? and what will be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Matthew 24:4Jesus answered them, "Be careful that no one leads you astray.And Jesus said to them in answer, Take care that you are not tricked.And Jesus answered and said to them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Matthew 24:5For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will lead many astray.For people will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and a number will be turned from the true way through them.For many will come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and will deceive many.
Matthew 24:6You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren't troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet.And news will come to you of wars and talk of wars: do not be troubled, for these things have to be; but it is still not the end.And ye will hear of wars, and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Matthew 24:7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places.For nation will be moved against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and men will be without food, and the earth will be shaking in different places;For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there will be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places.
Matthew 24:8But all these things are the beginning of birth pains.But all these things are the first of the troubles.All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Matthew 24:9Then they will deliver you up to oppression, and will kill you. You will be hated by all of the nations for my name's sake.Then they will be cruel to you, and will put you to death: and you will be hated by all nations because of my name.Then will they deliver you up to be afflicted, and will kill you: and ye will be hated by all nations for my name's sake.
Matthew 24:10Then will many stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another.And numbers of people will be turned from the right way, and will give one another up and have hate for one another.And then will many be offended, and will betray one another, and will hate one another.
Matthew 24:11Many false prophets will arise, and will lead many astray.And a number of false prophets will come, causing error.And many false prophets will rise, and will deceive many.
Matthew 24:12Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold.And because wrongdoing will be increased, the love of most people will become cold.And because iniquity will abound, the love of many will become cold.
Matthew 24:13But he who endures to the end, the same will be saved.But he who goes through to the end will get salvation.But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.
Matthew 24:14This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.And this good news of the kingdom will be given through all the world for a witness to all nations; and then the end will come.And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world, for a testimony to all nations; and then shall the end come.
Matthew 24:15When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),When, then, you see in the holy place the unclean thing which makes destruction, of which word was given by Daniel the prophet (let this be clear to the reader),When therefore ye shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoever readeth, let him understand,)
Matthew 24:16then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.Then let those who are in Judaea go in flight to the mountains:Then let them who are in Judea flee to the mountains:
Matthew 24:17Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take out things that are in his house.Let not him who is on the house-top go down to take anything out of his house:Let him who is on the house-top not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Matthew 24:18Let him who is in the field not return back to take his cloak.And let not him who is in the field go back to get his coat.Neither let him who is in the field return back to take his clothes.
Matthew 24:19But woe to those who are with child and to nursing mothers in those days!But it will be hard for women who are with child and for those with babies at the breast in those days.And woe to them that are with child, and to them that nurse infants in those days!
Matthew 24:20Pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on a Sabbath,And say a prayer that your flight may not be in the winter, or on a Sabbath.But pray ye that your flight may not be in the winter, neither on the sabbath:
Matthew 24:21for then will be great oppression, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be.Because in those days there will be great sorrow, such as there has not been from the start of the world till now, or ever will be.For then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Matthew 24:22Except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the elect's sake, those days will be shortened.And if those days had not been made short there would have been no salvation for any, but because of the saints those days will be made short.And except those days should be shortened, there would no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Matthew 24:23Then if any man will tell you, 'Behold, here is the Christ,' or, 'There,' don't believe it.Then if any man says to you, See, here is the Christ, or, Here; do not put faith in him;Then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
Matthew 24:24For there will arise false Christs, and false prophets, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.For there will come up false Christs, and false prophets, who will do great signs and wonders; so that if possible even the saints might be tricked.For false Christs will arise, and false prophets, and will show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they would deceive the very elect.
Matthew 24:25Behold, I have told you beforehand.See, I have made it clear to you before it comes about.Behold, I have told you before.
Matthew 24:26If therefore they tell you, 'Behold, he is in the wilderness!' don't go out; 'Behold, he is in the inner chambers,' don't believe it.If, then, they say to you, See, he is in the waste land; go not out: See, he is in the inner rooms; put no faith in it.Wherefore, if they shall say to you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
Matthew 24:27For as the lightning comes forth from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.Because as in a thunderstorm the bright light coming from the east is seen even in the west; so will be the coming of the Son of man.For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even to the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Matthew 24:28For wherever the carcass is, there will the vultures be gathered together.Wherever the dead body is, there will the eagles come together.For wherever the carcass is, there will the eagles be collected.
Matthew 24:29But immediately after the oppression of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give her light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken;But straight away, after the trouble of those days, the sun will be made dark and the moon will not give her light and the stars will come down from heaven and the powers of heaven will be moved:Immediately after the tribulation of those days, shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Matthew 24:30and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.And then the sign of the Son of man will be seen in heaven: and then all the nations of the earth will have sorrow, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Matthew 24:31He will send forth his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.And he will send out his angels with a great sound of a horn, and they will get his saints together from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.And he will send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Matthew 24:32"Now from the fig tree learn her parable. When its branch has now become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that the summer is near.Now take an example from the fig-tree: when her branch has become soft and puts out its leaves, you are certain that the summer is near;Now learn a parable of the fig-tree; When its branch is yet tender and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
Matthew 24:33Even so you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.Even so, when you see all these things, you may be certain that he is near, even at the doors.So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Matthew 24:34Most assuredly I tell you, this generation will not pass away, until all these things are accomplished.Truly I say to you, This generation will not come to an end till all these things are complete.Verily I say to you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things shall be fulfilled.
Matthew 24:35Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.Heaven and earth will come to an end, but my words will not come to an end.Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Matthew 24:36But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.But of that day and hour no one has knowledge, not even the angels in heaven, or the Son, but the Father only.But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Matthew 24:37As the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.And as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man.But as the days of Noah were, so will also the coming of the Son of man be.
Matthew 24:38For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,Because as in those days before the overflowing of the waters, they were feasting and taking wives and getting married, till the day when Noah went into the ark,For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
Matthew 24:39and they didn't know until the flood came, and took them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.And they had no care till the waters came and took them all away; so will be the coming of the Son of man.And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away: so also will be the coming of the Son of man.
Matthew 24:40Then will two men be in the field: one is taken, and one is left;Then two men will be in the field; one is taken, and one let go;Then will two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Matthew 24:41two women grinding at the mill, one is taken, and one is left.Two women will be crushing grain; one is taken, and one let go.Two women will be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Matthew 24:42Watch therefore, for you don't know in what hour your Lord comes.Be watching, then! for you have no knowledge on what day your Lord will come.Watch therefore; for ye know not what hour your Lord cometh.
Matthew 24:43But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.But be certain of this, that if the master of the house had had knowledge of the time when the thief was coming, he would have been watching, and would not have let his house be broken into.But know this, that if the master of the house knew in what watch the thief would come, he would watch, and would not suffer his house to be broken up.
Matthew 24:44Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don't expect, the Son of Man will come.Be ready then; for at a time which you have no thought of the Son of man will come.Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of man cometh.
Matthew 24:45Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has set over his household, to give them their food in due season?Who is the true and wise servant, whom his lord has put over those in his house, to give them their food at the right time?Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his Lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?
Matthew 24:46Blessed is that servant, whom his lord will find doing so when he comes.A blessing on that servant, who will be doing so when his lord comes.Blessed is that servant, whom his lord, when he cometh, shall find so doing.
Matthew 24:47Most assuredly I tell you, that he will set him over all that he has.Truly, I say to you, he will put him over all he has.Verily I say to you, that he will make him ruler over all his goods.
Matthew 24:48But if that evil servant should say in his heart, 'My lord is delaying his coming,'But if that evil servant says in his heart, My lord is a long time in coming;But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My Lord delayeth his coming;
Matthew 24:49and began to beat his fellow-servants, and eat and drink with the drunken,And is cruel to the other servants, taking his pleasure with those who are overcome with wine;And shall begin to beat his fellow-servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
Matthew 24:50the lord of that servant will come in a day when he doesn't expect it, and in an hour when he doesn't know it,The lord of that servant will come in a day when he is not looking for him, and in an hour of which he has no knowledge,The Lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
Matthew 24:51and will cut him in pieces, and appoint his portion with the hypocrites; there is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.And will have him cut in two, and will give him a part in the fate of the false ones: there will be weeping and cries of sorrow.And will cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
