Philippians 3:1Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not tiresome, but for you it is safe.For the rest, my brothers, be glad in the Lord. Writing the same things to you is no trouble to me, and for you it is safe.Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.
Philippians 3:2Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision.Be on the watch against dogs, against the workers of evil, against those of the circumcision:Beware of dogs, beware of evil-workers, beware of the concision.
Philippians 3:3For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh;For we are the circumcision, who give worship to God and have glory in Jesus Christ, and have no faith in the flesh:For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
Philippians 3:4though I myself might have confidence even in the flesh. If any other man thinks that he has confidence in the flesh, I yet more:Even though I myself might have faith in the flesh: if any other man has reason to have faith in the flesh, I have more:Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath reason to trust in the flesh, I more:
Philippians 3:5circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee;Being given circumcision on the eighth day, of the nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in relation to the law, a Pharisee:Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; with respect to the law, a Pharisee;
Philippians 3:6concerning zeal, persecuting the assembly; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, found blameless.In bitter hate I was cruel to the church; I kept all the righteousness of the law to the last detail.Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; with respect to the righteousness which is by the law, blameless.
Philippians 3:7However, what things were gain to me, these have I counted loss for Christ.But those things which were profit to me, I gave up for Christ.But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
Philippians 3:8Yes most assuredly, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain ChristYes truly, and I am ready to give up all things for the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, which is more than all: for whom I have undergone the loss of all things, and to me they are less than nothing, so that I may have Christ as my reward,Yes doubtless, and I count all things to be loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them to be dung, that I may win Christ,
Philippians 3:9and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;And be seen in him, not having my righteousness which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:
Philippians 3:10that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death;That I may have knowledge of him, and of the power of his coming back from the dead, and a part with him in his pains, becoming like him in his death;That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable to his death;
Philippians 3:11if by any means I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.If in any way I may have the reward of life from the dead.If by any means I may attain to the resurrection of the dead.
Philippians 3:12Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect; but I press on, if it is so that I may take hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.Not as if I had even now got the reward or been made complete: but I go on in the hope that I may come to the knowledge of that for which I was made the servant of Christ Jesus.Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I pursue, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:13Brothers, I don't regard myself as yet having laid hold, but one thing I do. Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before,Brothers, it is clear to me that I have not come to that knowledge; but one thing I do, letting go those things which are past, and stretching out to the things which are before,Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forward to those things which are before,
Philippians 3:14I press on toward the goal to the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.I go forward to the mark, even the reward of the high purpose of God in Christ Jesus.I press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:15Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, think this way. If in anything you think otherwise, this God will also reveal that to you.Then let us all, who have come to full growth, be of this mind: and if in anything you are of a different mind, even this will God make clear to you:Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye are otherwise minded, God will reveal even this to you.
Philippians 3:16Nevertheless, to the extent that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule. Let us be of the same mind.Only, as far as we have got, let us be guided by the same rule.Nevertheless, to what we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
Philippians 3:17Brothers, be imitators together of me, and note those who walk this way, even as you have us for an example.Brothers, take me as your example, and take note of those who are walking after the example we have given.Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them who walk so as ye have us for an example.
Philippians 3:18For many walk, of whom I told you often, and now tell you even weeping, as the enemies of the cross of Christ,For there are those, of whom I have given you word before, and do so now with sorrow, who are haters of the cross of Christ;(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
Philippians 3:19whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who think about earthly things.Whose end is destruction, whose god is the stomach, and whose glory is in their shame, whose minds are fixed on the things of the earth.Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
Philippians 3:20For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord, Jesus Christ;For our country is in heaven; from where the Saviour for whom we are waiting will come, even the Lord Jesus Christ:For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Philippians 3:21who will change the body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working whereby he is able even to subject all things to himself.By whom this poor body of ours will be changed into the image of the body of his glory, in the measure of the working by which he is able to put all things under himself.Who will change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like to his glorious body, according to the working by which he is able even to subdue all things to himself.
