1st-Kings 15:3He walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him; and his heart was not perfect with Yahweh his God, as the heart of David his father.And he did the same sins which his father had done before him: his heart was not completely true to the Lord his God, like the heart of David his father.and he walketh in all the sins of his father, that he did before him, and his heart hath not been perfect with Jehovah his God, as the heart of David his father;
1st-Kings 15:4Nevertheless for David's sake did Yahweh his God give him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem;But because of David, the Lord gave him a light in Jerusalem, making his sons king after him, so that Jerusalem might be safe;but for David`s sake hath Jehovah his God given to him a lamp in Jerusalem, to raise up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem,
1st-Kings 15:5because David did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, and didn't turn aside from anything that he commanded him all the days of his life, except only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.Because David did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, and never in all his life went against his orders, but only in the question of Uriah the Hittite.in that David did that which [is] right in the eyes of Jehovah, and turned not aside from all that He commanded him all days of his life only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite;
1st-Kings 15:6Now there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life....and war hath been between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.
1st-Kings 15:7The rest of the acts of Abijam, and all that he did, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? There was war between Abijam and Jeroboam.Now the rest of the acts of Abijam, and all he did, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Judah? And there was war between Abijam and Jeroboam.And the rest of the matters of Abijam, and all that he did, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Judah? And war hath been between Abijam and Jeroboam;
1st-Kings 15:8Abijam slept with his fathers; and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his place.Then Abijam went to rest with his fathers, and they put him into the earth in the town of David: and Asa his son became king in his place.and Abijam lieth with his fathers, and they bury him in the city of David, and reign doth Asa his son in his stead.
1st-Kings 15:9In the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Asa to reign over Judah.In the twentieth year that Jeroboam was king of Israel, Asa became king over Judah.And in the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel reigned hath Asa over Judah,
1st-Kings 15:10Forty-one years reigned he in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Maacah the daughter of Abishalom.And he was king for forty-one years in Jerusalem; his mother's name was Maacah, the daughter of Abishalom.and forty and one years he hath reigned in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Maachah daughter of Abishalom.
1st-Kings 15:11Asa did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, as did David his father.Asa did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, as David his father did.And Asa doth that which [is] right in the eyes of Jehovah, like David his father,
1st-Kings 15:12He put away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.Those used for sex purposes in the worship of the gods he sent out of the country, and he took away all the images which his fathers had made.and removeth the whoremongers out of the land, and turneth aside all the idols that his fathers made;
1st-Kings 15:13Also Maacah his mother he removed from being queen, because she had made an abominable image for an Asherah; and Asa cut down her image, and burnt it at the brook Kidron.And he would not let Maacah his mother be queen, because she had made a disgusting image for Asherah; and Asa had the image cut down and burned by the stream Kidron.and also Maachah his mother he turneth her aside from being mistress, in that she made a horrible thing for a shrine, and Asa cutteth down her horrible thing, and burneth [it] by the brook Kidron;
1st-Kings 15:14But the high places were not taken away: nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect with Yahweh all his days.The high places, however, were not taken away: but still the heart of Asa was true to the Lord all his life.and the high places have not turned aside; only, the heart of Asa hath been perfect with Jehovah all his days,

1st-Kings 15:17Baasha king of Israel went up against Judah, and built Ramah, that he might not allow anyone to go out or come in to Asa king of Judah.And Baasha, king of Israel, went up against Judah, building Ramah, so that no one was able to go out or in to Asa, king of Judah.and Baasha king of Israel goeth up against Judah, and buildeth Ramah, not to permit any one going out and coming in to Asa king of Judah.
1st-Kings 15:18Then Asa took all the silver and the gold that were left in the treasures of the house of Yahweh, and the treasures of the king's house, and delivered them into the hand of his servants; and king Asa sent them to Ben-hadad, the son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, who lived at Damascus, saying,Then Asa took all the silver and gold which was still stored in the Lord's house, and in the king's house, and sent them, in the care of his servants, to Ben-hadad, son of Tabrimmon, son of Rezon, king of Aram, at Damascus, saying,And Asa taketh all the silver and the gold that are left in the treasures of the house of Jehovah, and the treasures of the house of the king, and giveth them into the hand of his servants, and king Asa sendeth them unto Ben-Hadad, son of Tabrimmon, son of Hezion king of Aram, who is dwelling in Damascus, saying,
1st-Kings 15:19[There is] a league between me and you, between my father and your father: behold, I have sent to you a present of silver and gold; go, break your league with Baasha king of Israel, that he may depart from me.Let there be an agreement between me and you as there was between my father and your father: see, I have sent you an offering of silver and gold; go and put an end to your agreement with Baasha, king of Israel, so that he may give up attacking me.`A covenant [is] between me and thee, between my father and thy father; lo, I have sent to thee a reward of silver and gold; go, break thy covenant with Baasha king of Israel, and he goeth up from off me.`

1st-Kings 15:21It happened, when Baasha heard of it, that he left off building Ramah, and lived in Tirzah.And Baasha, hearing of it, put a stop to the building of Ramah, and was living in Tirzah.and it cometh to pass at Baasha`s hearing, that he ceaseth from building Ramah, and dwelleth in Tirzah.
1st-Kings 15:22Then king Asa made a proclamation to all Judah; none was exempted: and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the timber of it, with which Baasha had built; and king Asa built therewith Geba of Benjamin, and Mizpah.Then King Asa got all Judah together, making every man come; and they took away the stones and the wood with which Baasha was building Ramah, and King Asa made use of them for building Geba in the land of Benjamin, and Mizpah.And king Asa hath summoned all Judah there is none exempt and they lift up the stones of Ramah, and its wood, that Baasha hath built, and king Asa buildeth with them Geba of Benjamin, and Mizpah.

But in the time of his old age he was diseased in his feet.Now the rest of the acts of Asa, and his power, and all he did, and the towns of which he was the builder, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Judah? But when he was old he had a disease of the feet.And the rest of all the matters of Asa, and all his might, and all that he did, and the cities that he built, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Judah? Only, at the time of his old age he was diseased in his feet;
1st-Kings 15:24Asa slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father; and Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his place.So Asa went to rest with his fathers and was put into the earth in the town of David his father: and Jehoshaphat his son became king in his place.and Asa lieth with his fathers, and is buried with his fathers in the city of David his father, and Jehoshaphat his son reigneth in his stead.
