| Matthew 19:1 | It happened when Jesus had finished these words, he departed from Galilee, and came into the borders of Judea beyond the Jordan. | And it came about that after saying these words, Jesus went away from Galilee, and came into the parts of Judaea on the other side of Jordan. | And it came to pass, when Jesus finished these words, he removed from Galilee, and did come to the borders of Judea, beyond the Jordan, |
| Matthew 19:2 | Great multitudes followed him, and he healed them there. | And a great number went after him; and he made them well there. | and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them there. |
| Matthew 19:3 | Pharisees came to him, testing him, and saying, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?" | And certain Pharisees came to him, testing him, and saying, Is it right for a man to put away his wife for every cause? | And the Pharisees came near to him, tempting him, and saying to him, `Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?` |

| Matthew 19:5 | and said, 'For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife; and the two will become one flesh?' | For this cause will a man go away from his father and mother, and be joined to his wife; and the two will become one flesh? | and said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they shall be the two for one flesh? |

| Matthew 19:8 | He said to them, "Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so. | He says to them, Moses, because of your hard hearts, let you put away your wives: but it has not been so from the first. | He saith to them `Moses for your stiffness of heart did suffer you to put away your wives, but from the beginning it hath not been so. |
| Matthew 19:9 | I tell you that whoever will put away his wife, except for sexual immorality, and will marry another, commits adultery; and he who marries her when she is put away commits adultery." | And I say to you, Whoever puts away his wife for any other cause than the loss of her virtue, and takes another, is a false husband: and he who takes her as his wife when she is put away, is no true husband to her. | `And I say to you, that, whoever may put away his wife, if not for whoredom, and may marry another, doth commit adultery; and he who did marry her that hath been put away, doth commit adultery.` |

He who is able to receive it, let him receive it." | For there are men who, from birth, were without sex: and there are some who were made so by men: and there are others who have made themselves so for the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to take it, let him take it. | for there are eunuchs who from the mother`s womb were so born; and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who kept themselves eunuchs because of the reign of the heavens: he who is able to receive [it] let him receive.` |

| Matthew 19:17 | He said to him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments." | And he said to him, Why are you questioning me about what is good? One there is who is good: but if you have a desire to go into life, keep the rules of the law. | And he said to him, `Why me dost thou call good? no one [is] good except One God; but if thou dost will to enter into the life, keep the commands.` |

And Jesus said, Do not put anyone to death, Do not be untrue in married life, Do not take what is not yours, Do not give false witness, | He saith to him, `What kind?` And Jesus said, `Thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not bear false witness, |

| Matthew 19:21 | Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me." | Jesus said to him, If you have a desire to be complete, go, get money for your property, and give it to the poor, and you will have wealth in heaven: and come after me. | Jesus said to him, `If thou dost will to be perfect, go away, sell what thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven, and come, follow me.` |

| Matthew 19:24 | Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." | And again I say to you, It is simpler for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a man with much money to go into the kingdom of God. | and again I say to you, it is easier for a camel through the eye of a needle to go, than for a rich man to enter into the reign of God.` |

| Matthew 19:26 | Looking at them, Jesus said, "With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." | And Jesus, looking at them, said, With men this is not possible; but with God all things are possible. | And Jesus having earnestly beheld, said to them, `With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.` |
