| Genesis 12:1 | Now Yahweh said to Abram, "Get out of your country, and from your relatives, and from your father's house, to the land that I will show you. | And Jehovah had said to Abram, Go out of thy land, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, to the land that I will shew thee. | Now the Lord said to Abram, Go out from your country and from your family and from your father's house, into the land to which I will be your guide: |
| Genesis 12:2 | I will make of you a great nation. I will bless you, and make your name great. You will be a blessing. | And I will make of thee a great nation, and bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing. | And I will make of you a great nation, blessing you and making your name great; and you will be a blessing: |
| Genesis 12:3 | I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you. In you will all of the families of the earth be blessed." | And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. | To them who are good to you will I give blessing, and on him who does you wrong will I put my curse: and you will become a name of blessing to all the families of the earth. |
