Hebrews 10:1For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near. For the law, having a shadow of the coming good things, not the image itself of the things, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually yearly, perfect those who approach. For the law having a shadow of the good things to come, not the very image of the things; by the selfsame sacrifices which they offer continually every year, can never make the comers thereunto perfect:
Hebrews 10:2Or else wouldn't they have ceased to be offered, because the worshippers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins?Since, would they not indeed have ceased being offered, on account of the worshippers once purged having no longer any conscience of sins? For then they would have ceased to be offered: because the worshippers once cleansed should have no conscience of sin any longer:
Hebrews 10:3But in those sacrifices there is a memory made of sins year by year. But in these [there is] a calling to mind of sins yearly. But in them there is made a commemoration of sins every year.
Hebrews 10:4For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins. For blood of bulls and goats [is] incapable of taking away sins. For it is impossible that with the blood of oxen and goats sin should be taken away.
Hebrews 10:5Therefore when he comes into the world, he says, "Sacrifice and offering you didn't desire, But a body did you prepare for me;Wherefore coming into the world he says, Sacrifice and offering thou willedst not; but thou hast prepared me a body.Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith: Sacrifice and oblation thou wouldest not: but a body thou hast fitted to me:
Hebrews 10:6In whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you had no pleasure.Thou tookest no pleasure in burnt-offerings and sacrifices for sin.Holocausts for sin did not please thee.
Hebrews 10:7Then I said, 'Behold, I have come (In the scroll of the book it is written of me) To do your will, God.'"Then I said, Lo, I come (in [the] roll of the book it is written of me) to do, O God, thy will. Then said I: Behold I come: in the head of the book it is written of me: that I should do thy will, O God.
Hebrews 10:8Saying above, "Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you didn't desire, neither had pleasure in them" (those which are offered according to the law),Above, saying Sacrifices and offerings and burnt-offerings and sacrifices for sin thou willedst not, neither tookest pleasure in (which are offered according to the law);In saying before, Sacrifices, and oblations, and holocausts for sin thou wouldest not, neither are they pleasing to thee, which are offered according to the law.
Hebrews 10:9then has he said, "Behold, I have come to do your will." He takes away the first, that he may establish the second, then he said, Lo, I come to do thy will. He takes away the first that he may establish the second; Then said I: Behold, I come to do thy will, O God: he taketh away the first, that he may establish that which followeth.
Hebrews 10:10by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.In the which will, we are sanctified by the oblation of the body of Jesus Christ once.
Hebrews 10:11Every priest indeed stands day by day ministering and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins,And every priest stands daily ministering, and offering often the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. And every priest indeed standeth daily ministering, and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.
Hebrews 10:12but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;But *he*, having offered one sacrifice for sins, sat down in perpetuity at [the] right hand of God,But this man offering one sacrifice for sins, for ever sitteth on the right hand of God,
Hebrews 10:13henceforth expecting until his enemies to be made the footstool of his feet.waiting from henceforth until his enemies be set [for the] footstool of his feet. From henceforth expecting, until his enemies be made his footstool.
Hebrews 10:14For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are sanctified. For by one offering he has perfected in perpetuity the sanctified. For by one oblation he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Hebrews 10:15The Holy Spirit also testifies to us, for after he has said,And the Holy Spirit also bears us witness [of it]; for after what was said:And the Holy Ghost also doth testify this to us. For after that he said:
Hebrews 10:16"This is the covenant that I will make with them: 'After those days,' says the Lord, 'I will put my laws on their heart, I will also write them on their mind;'" then,This [is] the covenant which I will establish towards them after those days, saith [the] Lord: Giving my laws into their hearts, I will write them also in their understandings; And this is the testament which I will make unto them after those days, saith the Lord. I will give my laws in their hearts, and on their minds will I write them:
Hebrews 10:17"I will remember their sins and their iniquities no more."and their sins and their lawlessnesses I will never remember any more. And their sins and iniquities I will remember no more.
Hebrews 10:18Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.But where there [is] remission of these, [there is] no longer a sacrifice for sin.Now where there is a remission of these, there is no more an oblation for sin.
Hebrews 10:19Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus,Having therefore, brethren, boldness for entering into the [holy of] holies by the blood of Jesus,Having therefore, brethren, a confidence in the entering into the holies by the blood of Christ;
Hebrews 10:20by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;the new and living way which he has dedicated for us through the veil, that is, his flesh,A new and living way which he hath dedicated for us through the veil, that is to say, his flesh,
Hebrews 10:21and having a great priest over the house of God;and [having] a great priest over the house of God,And a high priest over the house of God:
Hebrews 10:22let us draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and having our body washed with pure water, let us approach with a true heart, in full assurance of faith, sprinkled as to our hearts from a wicked conscience, and washed as to our body with pure water.Let us draw near with a true heart in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with clean water.
Hebrews 10:23let us hold fast the confession of our hope unyieldingly. For he who promised is faithful.Let us hold fast the confession of the hope unwavering, (for he [is] faithful who has promised;)Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering (for he is faithful that hath promised),
Hebrews 10:24Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, and let us consider one another for provoking to love and good works; And let us consider one another, to provoke unto charity and to good works:
Hebrews 10:25not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching.not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the custom [is] with some; but encouraging [one another], and by so much the more as ye see the day drawing near. Not forsaking our assembly, as some are accustomed; but comforting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching.
Hebrews 10:26For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins,For where we sin wilfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains any sacrifice for sins,For if we sin wilfully after having the knowledge of the truth, there is now left no sacrifice for sins,
Hebrews 10:27but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which will devour the adversaries.but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and heat of fire about to devour the adversaries. But a certain dreadful expectation of judgment, and the rage of a fire which shall consume the adversaries.
Hebrews 10:28A man who has set at nothing Moses' law dies without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses.Any one that has disregarded Moses' law dies without mercy on [the testimony of] two or three witnesses:A man making void the law of Moses, dieth without any mercy under two or three witnesses:
Hebrews 10:29How much worse punishment, do you think, will he be judged worthy of, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?of how much worse punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and esteemed the blood of the covenant, whereby he has been sanctified, common, and has insulted the Spirit of grace? How much more, do you think he deserveth worse punishments, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath esteemed the blood of the testament unclean, by which he was sanctified, and hath offered an affront to the Spirit of grace?
Hebrews 10:30For we know him who said, "Vengeance belongs to me," says the Lord, "I will repay." Again, "The Lord will judge his people."For we know him that said, To me [belongs] vengeance; *I* will recompense, saith the Lord: and again, The Lord shall judge his people. For we know him that hath said: Vengeance belongeth to me, and I will repay. And again: The Lord shall judge his people.
Hebrews 10:31It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.[It is] a fearful thing falling into [the] hands of [the] living God.It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Hebrews 10:32But remember the former days, in which, after you were enlightened, you endured a great struggle with sufferings; But call to mind the earlier days in which, having been enlightened, ye endured much conflict of sufferings; But call to mind the former days, wherein, being illuminated, you endured a great fight of afflictions.
Hebrews 10:33partly, being exposed to both reproaches and oppressions; and partly, becoming partakers with those who were treated so.on the one hand, when ye were made a spectacle both in reproaches and afflictions; and on the other, when ye became partakers with those who were passing through them. And on the one hand indeed, by reproaches and tribulations, were made a gazingstock; and on the other, became companions of them that were used in such sort.
Hebrews 10:34For you both had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your possessions, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and an enduring one in the heavens. For ye both sympathised with prisoners and accepted with joy the plunder of your goods, knowing that ye have for yourselves a better substance, and an abiding one.For you both had compassion on them that were in bands, and took with joy the being stripped of your own goods, knowing that you have a better and a lasting substance.
Hebrews 10:35Therefore don't throw away your boldness, which has a great reward.Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompense.Do not therefore lose your confidence, which hath a great reward.
Hebrews 10:36For you need patience, so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise. For ye have need of endurance in order that, having done the will of God, ye may receive the promise. For patience is necessary for you; that, doing the will of God, you may receive the promise.
Hebrews 10:37"For yet a very little while, He who comes will come, and will not wait. For yet a very little while he that comes will come, and will not delay. For yet a little and a very little while, and he that is to come, will come, and will not delay.

Hebrews 10:39But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the saving of the soul. But *we* are not drawers back to perdition, but of faith to saving [the] soul. But we are not the children of withdrawing unto perdition, but of faith to the saving of the soul.
