Luke 11:7and he from within will answer and say, 'Don't bother me. The door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I can't get up and give it to you'?and he within answering should say, Do not disturb me; the door is already shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise up to give [it] thee? And he from within should answer, and say: Trouble me not, the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.
Luke 11:8I tell you, although he will not rise and give it to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence, he will get up and give him as many as he needs.I say to you, Although he will not get up and give [them] to him because he is his friend, because of his shamelessness, at any rate, he will rise and give him as many as he wants.Yet if he shall continue knocking, I say to you, although he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend; yet, because of his importunity, he will rise, and give him as many as he needeth.
Luke 11:9I tell you, keep asking, and it will be given you. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you.And *I* say to you, Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.And I say to you, Ask, and it shall be given you: seek, and you shall find: knock, and it shall be opened to you.

Or if he asks for a fish, he won't give him a snake instead of a fish, will he?But of whom of you that is a father shall a son ask bread, and [the father] shall give him a stone? or also a fish, and instead of a fish shall give him a serpent? And which of you, if he ask his father bread, will he give him a stone? or a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
Luke 11:12Or if he asks for an egg, he won't give him a scorpion, will he?or if also he shall ask an egg, shall give him a scorpion?Or if he shall ask an egg, will he reach him a scorpion?
Luke 11:13If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?"If therefore *ye*, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much rather shall the Father who is of heaven give [the] Holy Spirit to them that ask him?If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father from heaven give the good Spirit to them that ask him?
Luke 11:14He was casting out a demon, and it was mute. It happened, when the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke; and the multitudes marveled. And he was casting out a demon, and it was dumb; and it came to pass, the demon being gone out, the dumb [man] spoke. And the crowds wondered. And he was casting out a devil, and the same was dumb: and when he had cast out the devil, the dumb spoke: and the multitudes were in admiration at it:

Luke 11:18If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? Because you say that I cast out demons by Beelzebul.and if also Satan is divided against himself, how shall his kingdom subsist? because ye say that I cast out demons by Beelzebub. And if Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because you say, that through Beelzebub I cast out devils.
Luke 11:19But if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore will they be your judges. But if *I* by Beelzebub cast out demons, your sons by whom do they cast [them] out? For this reason *they* shall be your judges. Now if I cast out devils by Beelzebub; by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges.

Luke 11:30For even as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will also the Son of Man be to this generation. For as Jonas was a sign to the Ninevites, thus shall also the Son of man be to this generation. For as Jonas was a sign to the Ninivites; so shall the Son of man also be to this generation.

Therefore when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is evil, your body also is full of darkness. The lamp of the body is thine eye: when thine eye is simple, thy whole body also is light; but when it is wicked, thy body also is dark. The light of thy body is thy eye. If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be lightsome: but if it be evil, thy body also will be darksome.
Luke 11:35Therefore see whether the light that is in you isn't darkness.See therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.Take heed therefore, that the light which is in thee, be not darkness.

Luke 11:39The Lord said to him, "Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter, but your inward part is full of extortion and wickedness. But the Lord said to him, Now do ye Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the dish, but your inward [parts] are full of plunder and wickedness. And the Lord said to him: Now you Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter; but your inside is full of rapine and iniquity.
Luke 11:40You foolish ones, didn't he who made the outside make the inside also?Fools, has not he who has made the outside made the inside also?Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without, make also that which is within?
Luke 11:41But give for alms those things which are within, and behold, all things will be clean to you.But rather give alms of what ye have, and behold, all things are clean to you.But yet that which remaineth, give alms; and behold, all things are clean unto you.
Luke 11:42But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and every herb, and bypass justice and the love of God. You ought to have done these, and not to leave the other undone. But woe unto you, Pharisees, for ye pay tithes of mint and rue and every herb, and pass by the judgment and the love of God: these ye ought to have done, and not have left those aside. But woe to you, Pharisees, because you tithe mint and rue and every herb; and pass over judgment, and the charity of God. Now these things you ought to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Luke 11:43Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the best seats in the synagogues, and the greetings in the marketplaces.Woe unto you, Pharisees, for ye love the first seat in the synagogues and salutations in the market-places.Woe to you, Pharisees, because you love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and salutations in the marketplace.

For you load men with burdens that are difficult to carry, and you yourselves won't even lift one finger to help carry those burdens. And he said, To you also woe, doctors of the law, for ye lay upon men burdens heavy to bear, and yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers. But he said: Woe to you lawyers also, because you load men with burdens which they cannot bear, and you yourselves touch not the packs with one of your fingers.
Luke 11:47Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.Woe unto you, for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets, but your fathers killed them.Woe to you who build the monuments of the prophets: and your fathers killed them.
Luke 11:48So you testify and consent to the works of your fathers. For they killed them, and you build their tombs.Ye bear witness then, and consent to the works of your fathers; for *they* killed them, and *ye* build [their sepulchres].Truly you bear witness that you consent to the doings of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and you build their sepulchres.
Luke 11:49Therefore also the wisdom of God said, 'I will send to them prophets and apostles; and some of them they will kill and persecute,For this reason also the wisdom of God has said, I will send to them prophets and apostles, and of these shall they kill and drive out by persecution,For this cause also the wisdom of God said: I will send to them prophets and apostles; and some of them they will kill and persecute.
Luke 11:50that the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;that the blood of all the prophets which has been poured out from the foundation of the world may be required of this generation,That the blood of all the prophets which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation,

Luke 11:54laying in wait for him, and seeking to catch him in something he might say, that they might accuse him.watching him, [and seeking] to catch something out of his mouth, [that they might accuse him].Lying in wait for him, and seeking to catch something from his mouth, that they might accuse him.
