| Luke 17:1 | He said to the disciples, "It is impossible that occasions of stumbling should not come, but woe to him through whom they come! | And he said to his disciples, It cannot be but that offences come, but woe [to him] by whom they come! | And he said to his disciples: It is impossible that scandals should not come: but woe to him through whom they come. |
| Luke 17:2 | It would be better for him if a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble. | It would be [more] profitable for him if a millstone were hanged about his neck and he cast into the sea, than that he should be a snare to one of these little ones. | It were better for him, that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should scandalize one of these little ones. |
| Luke 17:3 | Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him.
